[ 24.11.17 ] Let's just say it's been a while since an original post but hopefully I'll be posting more soon! College has been kicking my ass - downside of taking four very academic subjects - but I'm loving it. Recently we did a set of mocks and I got all As, which at least means my hard work is paying off. I have also found a really good note taking system for in class (see above) which means I don't have to rewrite my notes. It's important to keep things simple so I use 5 highlighters sparingly: grey for headers; orange for examples; pastel blue for important information; smokey blue for any questions; turquoise for definitions. It makes my notes look nice and is the most efficient way to write them.

Type brief 1.

After being given the font OCR A and the adjective relaxed we were asked to create a response in a 3D form. Here is my response. 

My letter was filled with what I felt was relaxing, popcorn. I cant imagine a better way to relax than to go to the cinema or sit down on the couch and feast on some popcorn. 

I laser cut the design to try to keep the font characteristics and after alot of trial and error I finally got the design to look the way which I wanted.  The curved edges on the letter were particualry difficult to create but I was and am very happy with my final outcome.
