my guy Keiros. The oldest still alive active member of the Pantheon. Fascinated with mortals, obsessed with pantheon drama, and a cunty bitch <3
they're going to hang out with some of their human friends :]
19 for aelius and deimos!!!!!
19. Are they satisfied with their relationship? Do they wish they were more close/distant?
Hooh. hooh boy.
Aelius will tell you that everything is fine. He's trying to retain some semblance of professionalism here. He's certainly not gonna bring up the fact that he knew the newly ascended Moon when they were both still mortal unless you do, and if you do, he'll answer in as few words as possible, and might just straight up lie. He certainly doesn't miss his old friend, certainly doesn't wish things worked out differently.
See, the two of them knew each other when they were just mortals. Deimos (who certainly was called something different then, though that name has been lost to time) was fleeing local law enforcement for some petty crime, because he was just trying to survive and that's how the cards fell, and Aelius (whose old name has also been lost) was kind enough to offer refuge in his small house on the fields. The two grew close, and.. well, something may have developed. But Aelius drew the attention of the previous Sun, who happened to be looking for an apprentice. And if Aelius wanted to take up that offer, then he had to leave behind his mortal connections.
He took up the offer to potentially become one of the most powerful gods in the pantheon. Who wouldn't?
Deimos, obviously, feels incredibly betrayed and abandoned. Ends up working at, for a good chunk of his life, getting the attention of the current Moon and convincing them to take him as an apprentice. He eventually manages this, and only a few years later.. the previous Moon is mysteriously killed. And all that's on Deimos's mind is proving to everyone that they shouldn't have fucking left him behind and ignored him all his life.
Safe to say, when Aelius and Deimos see each other again at the Eclipse Festival (a meeting of the Sun and Moon kingdoms every ten years) after so many years, things are.. tense. Aelius would like to leave his past behind, because that's far easier. Deimos is never going to let that happen.
Various characters for a light fantasy universe I've got some ideas for floating around. There's gods n shit.
Most of these were drawn in uhh early 2023. Keiros, last drawn here, is also part of this group, I just never did a reference sheet for them apparently.
