One of the things I love about my stories' worldbuilding is when there are still remnants of previous versions and drafts in the current one.

I decide to no longer make two specific characters siblings, yet they still have the same eyes. A city is no longer the capital, yet its important connection with the King is still maintained. A character is removed, yet their actions and sentences are preserved because I simply gave them to another character.

Every story has elements of what created it, and I always enjoy seeing those.

I wonder what other studios/production companies might think when they see fandoms of various Disney properties like the MCU or Star Wars constantly hating on their movies and shows and yet keep watching them with no hesitation, thus making them profit more and more.

Seriously, when everywhere else the fandom is mad at a movie or a show, you can stay sure the viewership will drop or the box office would register a failure.

However, with Disney, you could see hundreds, thousands or even MILLIONS of people hating at something 24/7 here on social media and yet they keep tuning in or paying tickets to watch it.

How does that even make sense?

I wonder how much of the trend of setting so many movies and shows in the years between the early 1980s and the early 2000s can be attributed to the fact that this era is recent enough to be depicted as close to modern day, yet far enough to not have our current technological devices.

I bet there are some movies out there that act like they want to "homage" the 80s or the 90s because "this is a tribute to that era" is ten times less awkward than "we needed to set this movie in a time where the plot wouldn't be solved within the first 5 minutes by using a smartphone".

With Liz Truss resigning, I can already imagine future history trivia questions having a trick one with "who was the Prime Minister when Queen Elizabeth II passed away?", with people barely remembering that:

For a month and a half, Liz Truss was Prime Minister

She was actually appointed by Queen Elizabeth herself right before her passing

I can even imagine future rendition of the period of the end of her era depicting either Boris Johnson or whoever will replace Truss as the incumbent PM because people would remember that.

And so, the month of October ends. We have made it through 5/6 of the year, and only two months are left. Let's make sure we manage to end this year with a good note, okay?

I wish people who know me would understand that, when I ask a question whose answer is meant to be short, my brain goes into "short answer mode".

If I ask you a Yes or No question, or something that would take a couple words or a sentence at best for a reply, my brain only listens for, like, five seconds before moving on to something else.

I'm so sorry if my simple question triggered your mind into reciting a theatre monologue, but, please, warn me when you do this, because your reply might end up getting lost.
