Odd City Character File #1 is out on Wattpad! Character files are really important to the Odd City universe because they outline each character’s physical appearance as well as personality. I hate when you get into a book and picture a character a certain way, only to find out that they look completely different. The character files also might have some hidden clues to potential plot incidents, so be sure to read each one carefully!

Hello, good morning!

I woke up this morning and decided that I am going to focus 90% of my writing into Odd City and the other 10% into Galaxie. Those stories are two very important pieces to me, so it’s important to me that I write and finish them, and get them out for reading.

I feel like I’ve been talking about these stories forever, and the fact is: I have been.

Galaxie began in January 2019, and the first draft took a month and a half to write. It’s my first completed story and a best friend! Cashton story, and it’s currently in a draft 2.5 rewrite. The story is simple as are the characters, but it feels good.

Odd City is a longer piece of writing, and something that began late 2019, early 2020. It’s about six original characters of mine (OC - Odd City... see?) that are subdivisions of my personality and they live their lives in this city where nothing happens. It’s also important to me I get this story out.

Nothing I’ve ever written has felt so unique and interesting to me as these two stories.

I have the first “episodes” of Odd City written, but they need editing to fit in with the timeline. Galaxie is, like I said, being rewritten to some point, because it was near impossible to edit, and I didn’t want to change my first draft of my first completed story.

I’m hoping to edit Odd City and put out Episode 1 rather soon, possibly this Friday or next Friday depending on how my week goes. I’m back in school and work, so I have quite the busy schedule and have to work around that.

I am going to post the stories through Wattpad. Wattpad has copyright rules, and I don’t want to have people take my stories and pieces if I post them on tumblr and upload them to Wattpad under their name. I will of course link the stories here when I update them, but I will not post parts here. If you want to be tagged in either or both stories, please reply to this post so I can find all of your names in one place. This just makes it easier for me.
