Odd Dates' brand of punk is defined by intricacies that are felt rather than formulated. Songs start, stop and proceed not by metronome but by chemistry.
Aye, first song of our new album. Check it.
So my boyfriend is uncomfortable dancing in public. At prom this year when a slow dance song played, instead of bugging him to dance with me. I went around asking girls to dance, I asked almost every girl there and they all said no. I sat down beside my boyfriend complaining that rejection hurts. He just pat my shoulder and was like "You'll have better luck next time."
"Where did all the time go, where did it all run to?"

We played in Grand Rapids Wednesday night with a bunch homies. It was Keean's last show with Running Shoes before he made his big move to Toronto. Big thanks to The Cardboard Swords, Odd Dates, Running Shoes, and everyone who packed the basement that night. We love Grand Rapids! Speaking of The Cardboard Swords, they are playing a house show next week here in Columbus. It's going to be a lot of fun. Swordhand, Zack and I's new band with Adam and Chad from Southern State are playing our first show. Also playing are the amazing I Mustache You A Question. Bring yer friends, some bills, and good vibes. All the details can be found here.
We got a bunch of cool stuff in the works and are looking forward to the remainder of this year.
Thanks for the love!

We're gonna play a new song.

This DIY collective has been going strong for twelve years (celebrating their anniversary this October), and our experience here was great, despite the low turnout. Plunge and Glasir played a great show as well!
