Sharing a small backstory scene for my characters from Odd Ones.

Warnings: gore/blood, injury/death, hallucinations, sharp objects-ish. DO NOT READ IF THESE ARE TRIGGERING TO YOU!

Astraea's chest heaved as she stared down at her shaky, blood-covered hands. A choked sob escaped past her lips. Her eyes darted to the limp body of a young boy on the floor, blood pooling underneath him and staining the wood floors.

He had jumped out of the mirror. Astraea thought she was going insane before, but this time her best friend saw, he had to of with all the commotion of her and the boy wrestling around.

She quickly rushed to the kitchen sink and forced the water on, letting it run over her hands and watching the warm blood flow with the water. Astraea started rubbing frantically.

She killed someone, how is she going to explain? Will anyone believe her?

"Ray," Owen murmured, stepping up behind her. "What are you doing?"

"What does it look like I'm doing?" Astraea snapped, her insides churning with fear.

"Astraea, stop." He grabbed his best friend's wrists and held onto her tightly.

"No—no! Owen, stop! I killed him! I—I killed him!" She screamed, struggling against Owen as tears threatened to well up in her eyes.

Owen took her wet hands and held them up for her to look at them.

Astraea paused. She shifted her head to look to the side where the body lay, but there, in fact, was no body or blood. Heavy breaths echoed from her mouth as a tear slid down her cheek. She looked back to her hands, and just as the body wasn't there, the blood on her hands was nonexistent as well.

It had felt so real to her; she could feel the warmth of the blood on her hands. Astraea couldn’t believe that it wasn’t real.

Her best friend pulled her into a hug, and she didn't refuse it as she sobbed. "It's okay, Ray; we'll get through this together,” Owen soothed.

Overcome

Its a hospital fic. Mostly Ivy and Jinkx relationship.

The girls are there because some have eating disorders, suicides attempts, PTSD or schizophrenia. I think Adore is there for not talking.

Katya, Trixie, Adore, Courtney, Jinkx, Ivy, Violet and Pearl are patiences.

Michelle, Willam, Sasha and Bianca are doctors. I think Blair and Tatianna work there too.

Each chapter tells the story of each girl/person. Their past or their relationship outside or inside the hospital.

Ivy and Jinkx relationship is so cute and caring! Trixie and Katya's is more trying to hide and seek for a moment alone and smut. Pearl and Violet have a difficult relationship and very sad. Adore has a power relationship with Bianca, that should be really inappropriate because Bianca is taking care of Adore (even if Adore is an adult - but its fanfic!).

Also there is a lot of side characters. And sometimes I get a little lost on them. But I should say that Dani is getting better each chapter.

Odd Ones

It's a high school fic. Katya and Jinkx are friends. Katya works as a cashier and starts to fall for Trixie her classmate.

Trixie has a crush on Katya. But both are afraid to tell.

I hope there is more chapters because I want to understand why Katya used to hate Trixie. And Katya has bad parents, so is often at Jinkx's house.
