Another Oddbods AU idea I did, this one back in late 2024 (though never got a chance to post until now). In this AU, the eight main Oddbods are split into two opposite groups of Angels (consisting of Bubbles, Zee, Lulu, and Pogo) and Devils (consisting of Jeff, Newt, Fuse, and Slick), with all eight being the apprentices of the Archangels and Archdemons. Thankfully, unlike most depictions of Angels and Demons being bitter enemies, both of these groups are more of a friendly rivalry with no grudges held whatsoever! Behavior-wise, some demons and cambions have feline-like instincts (i.e. purring when happy, hissing when angry or frightened, enhanced night vision, etc.), while some angels have canine like instincts (i.e. getting excited easily, enhanced sense of smell, etc.) Both groups can even travel through portals of Heaven and Hell without any harm physically or mentally, as both Angels and Demons are simply normal people trying to live their lives! The mentors of the eight Oddbods in this AU consist in the following below:
Satan (the Archdemon of Wrath), who is mostly a loving gentleman who treats Fuse more like a son than an apprentice.
Lucifer (the Archdemon of Pride), as he surprising cares more of his peers more than himself.
Gabriel (the Archangel of Diligence), since he is hardworking like his apprentice Bubbles.
Azriel (the Archangel of Patience), as he is just as chill as Zee, since they enjoy nothing but sleep and watch the stars at night.
Ramiel (the Archangel of Kindness), since his kind heart and compassion towards his peers, especially Lulu, makes him quite popular.
Raphael (the Archangel of Humility), whose calm and well-mannered contrasts with Pogo's energy and prank-loving antics across Heaven, which he has gotten used to.
Leviathan (the Archdemon of Envy), taking more of benign envy than malicious envy thanks to Jeff.
Asmodeus (the Archdemon of Lust), who he treats Newt like a daughter than an apprentice while cladding his fine suits for the sake of her.
Together, all eight are discovering that both sides do co-exist peacefully, while fighting off those who say otherwise!
