In part of my Modo Reborn AU, Modo was sent to Lady Gaia (the one behind the Lotus Plane) after he did several deeds to reform himself.
Here, Lady Gaia has informed the angel-like soul that (after witnessing every good deed that Modo has done in his redemption) he was given another second chance in the mortal plane, much to the shock and delight of Modo.
Since it's been forever when I last posted something Oddbods-themed (or anything on Tumblr TBH), I decided to create this adorable and hilarious Oddbods AU starring Pogo and a reborn Modo (Pogo's clone from "One Two Many"), appropriately titled "Modo's Rebirth AU" (or "Modo Reborn"). Here's the prologue synopsis for this AU:
While spending most of his afterlife as Pogo's guardian angel while residing in a place in the astral plane known as "The Lotus Plane" (as the lotus flower symbolises rebirth), Modo has been informed that he was given another second chance in the mortal plane and can now leave the plane via a rainbow slide named the Phoenix Slideway. However, there was a catch as once Modo leaves the sacred plane he called home using the slideway, he will be regressed into an infant in the mortal plane. While reluctant at first, Modo accepts as he then used the slideway from the Lotus Plane to the mortal plane in a comfy escape pod (for his own protection), but not before saying goodbye to the inhabitants who helped redeem him. Once he had awoken from a deep slumber in the pod he was in previously, Modo has been regressed into a baby in a basket by Pogo's doorstep, where he was found and adopted by the blue prankster himself. TLDR: Modo leaves Heaven, get reincarnated as a baby, and becomes Pogo's adopted son.

Donning a halo and wings as his status as an angel-like soul, Modo is staring out at the lush grassy fields and pink starry sky of the Lotus Plane to calm himself down.
Despite the beauty of the fields of the plane, there is a hidden wave of sadness within Modo, as he yearns to return to the mortal world.
Another picture for my Modo Reborn AU. After saying goodbye to both Lady Gaia and the inhabitants who helped redeem him, Modo uses the Phoenix Slideway to travel from the Lotus Plane to the mortal plane in a comfy escape pod (for his own protection). While travelling down the slide-way, Modo is overcome by a pleasant drowsiness before drifting away into a deep sleep in his comfortable pod. With his time in the Lotus Plane becoming a memory of his journey, Modo had two feelings on his mind: Happy that he's getting a second chance at life and excited about going to meet Pogo again in the mortal plane! I decided to make the Phoenix Slideway a rainbow instead of gold because I thought it looked pretty!
