yehwa—a delicate baby girl—had been conceived not out of warmth or intimacy, but rather, sheer boredom. her creation was a spontaneous decision. an experiment performed between two fae who had nothing better to do with a jaded existence.the fae had always been fickle creatures, and to yehwa’s dismay, her parents were no different. for the two, life had simply begun to lack color, of something new, of something interesting. for the girl’s parents, she was the answer to a lackluster life.
in the beginning, yehwa’s life was fine. growing up, she recalls the secluded woods where she was raised. a small abandoned cottage surrounded by trees fill her recollections fondly. she was loved very much, but as time went by, her parents grew bored of their role as guardians. eventually, they would be gone soon. but her parents don’t outright and abandon her at first. instead they find themselves growing distant. slowly they make themselves sparse, as if that would make the pain any less hurtful.
they spend longer amounts of times away from home, days turning into weeks, and yehwa is left in the woods alone. the time trickles by as her parents’ disappearances become longer, and their visits become far and few between. before she can realize it, she doesn’t see her parents ever again.
in her cottage she remains, and instead of waiting for her parents to someday return, the fae begins to find love elsewhere. the love of children lost within her forested terrain, become her new source of fuel. she finds them the most desirable, as it isn’t much she must do to win their fondness and her charms work wonders on the small beings. they are an easy income of love and yehwa wants to keep them. she has thought of it a number of times, but something in her can’t bring herself to do it.
she spends a good majority of her life in the woods, and it’s only been about thirty years since she’s come out to blend in with the town. she lives pretty happily though.

001. BACKSTORY.
eunseo was born a cat before being able to turn into a human when she got her first bond with a witch, so before that she doesn’t recall much from what she experienced besides the fact that she was always a magical cat. the first time she bonded with someone was someone who was kind and sweet to her at first, giving her a home and easy tasks for her to fulfill but their desire for mastering black magic became bigger until tasks like collecting certain herbs turned into collecting the kidney of a virgin and the kindness was no more. leaving a very angry, obsessive owner who neglected her for so long until his death. her life then consisted of vending herself, stealing food became a norm for her and she became good at it, challenging herself to steal clothes instead of apples, even going as far as pickpocketing coins from the more richer people in town. from then on the years went by quickly, the king’s seat changed, wars were fought but eunseo was able to survive by herself.
then came her second owner who wasn’t really her owner, an elderly this time and it didn’t take too long for her to notice that they weren’t magical, wasn’t someone practicing magic but still brought her inside the house because of the goodness in their heart. eunseo, not being used to have someone take care of her kept disappearing but her paws would always come back to the little cottage in the woods ( for the warmth ) but humans, they don’t live long no matter how much they deserve it.
there hadn’t been any more owners, she developed a fear of abandonment after the death of the last one. so eunseo never got to properly develop her powers that would grow stronger when bonded. shifting from human to cat was something she was able to do freely, and being lucky was always apparent in her life but she’s not able to do anything that would require a bond & a great trust between them.

she’s been living in jeonseoul for quite a while now, taking the appearance of her human form most of the time until she grows weaker and has to change back to regain her strength. here, she’s an employee for gs25 because through the years everything changed and one of them were women being able to work outside of the household. the reason why she even got the job was mainly because the owner took pity on her for her well-rehearsed sob story the first time she came to jeonseoul.
stealing is still her favorite past time, trying to see how long it takes for an individual to notice a missing wallet. most of them notice after an hour, some of them ; two days later.
003. PERSONALITY.
eunseo is mischievous and is likely the one who covered your house with toilet papers. most of the time has good intentions, just executes it badly. hates being alone so much that when she turns into a cat she freely lets people pet her. if those people end up with bad luck somewhere later then it’s definitely absolutely her fault. the person who will urge you to finish your sentence after you’ve been cut off but also is the person who cuts you off in the first place. she dislikes water because she can’t swim, and hates being cold.

this is eun su, and will y’all believe me if i say he used to be a good egg before he turned into the rotten egg i’m presentin y’all with today ?? i kid u not.. bs free zone. he did once .. have a hort
he was born to a cult of witches, his twin brother absorbing all the magic that was meant to be equally distributed between them in his mother’s womb, which pretty much left eunsu as the black sheep of the family. said cult had been living on a small, near enough desolated island for literal decades, entertaining themselves with magic, seeking out knowledge, observing the unassuming populace, and toying with other supernatural creatures who dared cross their paths.
unfortunately for eunsu’s family, tragedy struck when one of his aunt’s tried to over throw the high priestess ( his mother ) in their coven. unyielding in her position and untouchable to the magic she was exposed to, her sister went about other ways to break the woman’s spirits, dabbling in black magic predominantly to achieve her goals.
eunsu’s brother was, thus, cursed before he was even born with an incurable heart defect that would see him dead before he reached double figures. eunsu’s mother was broken not mourned over how much he missed out as on a child: but she mourned for the fact that he was the only child that harboured any magic in their veins, the only child that could’ve carried on their lineage.
queue entrance of eunsu and his Whats the Worst that Could Happen Attitude. being young and naive, thought he could’ve been able to solve it by himself, solve the issues and earn his mother’s lacking affections. eun had heard about dark vessels that could miraculously grant wishes through summonings. though he didn’t have magic in his veins he had a fire in his heart, and after all, demons cared not for who or what they fed from: so long as they appeased their hunger.
all it wanted in return was a good, pure soul, and that’s what the demon stole from him before it mended his twin brother’s heart, giving the boy a new lease of life that wasn’t intended for him from the start. pity that eunsu died before he got to the age of twenty, following a quick and hungry fever that overtook his frail body and too soon turned deadly. there was no surprise that, come judgement day, he was turned away at the gates of heaven, in exchange for becoming one of lucifer’s own.
as a result of being eternally cursed with immorality and a tainted soul, he's lived some hundred-odd years and is coping by making the current populace in jeonseoul suffer along with finding purpose in digging out the secrets of his past life, mayhaps trying to find the demon who cursed him.... which could definitely be a wc.. and strengthening his abilities as a demon.
his personality is a bit insufferable; eunsu keeps himself distant and cryptic, because he likes it that way. he's a real weirdo ( if u have ever watched hxh he’s hisoka.. THAT weird ) that's hard to forget: completely mischievous, dramatic, and malicious to boot. some days he's waxing poetic about the futility of having a sense of justice and the next he's using his demonic powers to make some innocent tourist think they're hallucinating as they attempt to walk into a steady flow of traffic.
ultimately life's a game to him and bih.. he’s here to have fun ! he's outlived his actual family and friends ( well, aside from his brother who he barely remembers, prolly be a wc if anyone’s interested ) and he's not looking to get attached to anyone. it would be great to Die because it’s his forever Mood but he also gets furious if anyone tries to actually expel him for real - so he'll simply prod at the world and its people until he gets the reactions he wants.
fair warning: it is a pain to genuinely care about eunsu and not many people will wanna do it. he comes and goes into people's lives as he pleases, stops reaching out once he's bored and only ever grazes the surface of a relationship based on its worth or his curiosities, innocent ppl, cute ppl, etc are just gonna be eaten up by him then dropped.

since he’s a young demon, his horns are small and his wings barely span about two inches above his shoulder bones, he got itty bitty bat wings lbr he’s kinda pissed abt it. there’s tattoos over his scars from clashing with other demons / hunters / angels, but his devil’s mark lining the back of his neck, performed by first demon who took his soul, has never faded away.
he also works as an info broker, which ties in with the fact that he’s a contractual demon ! it's more of a hobby than a job, something he does for kicks and to restock his gambling money and alcohol money, but he offers a helping hand to solo clientele for private cases if need be, just remember to bring your negotiation skills because his manipulation skills are a1.
he's well-versed in witchcraft even if he can’t actually possess the abilities that actual witches can. while hardly the mentoring type, he could be convinced to equip people with his knowledge of latin, spells or dark magic they want if he's interested enough. then again he might decide to screw them over for kicks so ask him for favours with caution.
for someone who carries a ton of spite and secrets, he passes as an easygoing, casual literature major on the daily to disguise his true intentions. find him at the university pretending to be a student and failing miserably at it like edward’s thousand year old ass in twilight
he cheats at the casino with his demonic powers but does it infrequently enough to pass it as luck. play games with him at your own risk. casinos are one of his favourite places but he can really be found anywhere with ease but some other places he frequents are: beaches, libraries, museums, bars, etc !
he'll get on people's nerves, but getting him to care to the degree of hate is another story. living this long has numbed him; people don't surprise him anymore and he doesn't care to spend time thinking about others. the secret to getting him to turn deathly serious is as simple as telling him you can tell that he was once a good person - because the cheesy truth is he was. he just convinces himself that he's given up trying to remember his human life and finds it easier to live like he’s dead.. yknow which he is.

Standing at six feet tall, Joowon comes off as a bit intimidating though this is quickly canceled out by the overall warm and caring nature the young man exudes. The smile that is always seemed to be plastered on his face is another clear indicator that this giant couldn’t cause any harm.
He tends to forget many things very quickly. Although this never really seems to bother the young man. Instead, Joowon accepts the lack of memories from his childhood. Still, his brain is his own worst enemy. Not only does he have a shoddy memory, but Joowon’s active imagination tends to place false memories in his head. This causing the young adult to often be confused and having to write important things down as they happen.
Also, Joowon hates the fact that he has no control what memory is erased at what time. To make up for this the young man has quickly become very organized. Keeping sticky notes all over his house, reminders posted on his phone, and a planner that keeps track of everything that he needs to do for the next two weeks. Photobooks of people he has met in the past fill his bookshelf; Joowon has noticed memories of people tend to leave his mind first, so he uses these photobooks as a sort of system to keep track of the memories he lost. If he cannot remember their face he simply moves the picture into the book filled with forgotten faces. This extremely organized yet chaotic system works for Joowon; he feels as if it keeps him grounded.
The young man has always been a very social person. That being said, he can never remember a time where he had a good friend; this may be due to memory loss or simply because he has never one. Nevertheless, he is almost desperate to have a friend and as many as he can get. So, it is clearly easy to understand that he can be a pushover; he believes that if he does what others say they just want to keep him around. Joowon is very dedicated, putting his whole effort into everything he does.
Everything aside, Joowon cares deeply for others and is a kind person who loves the photography, small bugs, and strangely… yellow sticky notes.

THE BACKGROUND !
so a man and a woman fell in love, and had a cute lil baby with pitch black eyes and rosy cheeks. well, where’s the problem? that he’s a time witch and she’s an umbra witch, and their relationship not only is forbidden by the respective clans ( which are as old as time itself and have a very rigid set of traditions and beliefs to follow ), but it also happened without any marriage of the sort. double fuck you to clan rivalries that didn’t work as hoped.
while the fate of the father was and still remains unknown, the witch and her son were brought back within the clan territories where both were essentially branded like traitors and treated like pariahs despite their right to belong fully to the clan. which wasn’t exactly the healthiest thing a child would need to face, let’s be real. despite all ━his mother was very loving of him and she would sing him lullabies about dancing shadows and stars.
as he grew up, ikyeol showed pretty early he had inherited the clan’s major abilities ( umbrakinesis and pyrokinesis ) like his mother, and because of that raw potential the clan council granted him to train and learn how not only control his innate abilities, but also to learn how to channel his energies into broader magic. of course there was a goddamn catch on the deal, and that was that he had to be separated by his mother ━which was something he didn’t want to, but lmao his mom herself gave the okay so he kinda was forced away from her and as if it wasn’t enough the pressure and the disdain remained as everyone made sure he never forgot who he was and what was his real place in the clan.
roughly few years later he’s surely blooming as an umbra witch, but he’s also started becoming very insufferable of the clan mindset and strictness, often challenging the authorities to prove his worth and more often than ever ending up with getting his ass put into place. it’s roughly around the same time that he starts seeing things differently, almost feeling like he’s out of time with the rest of the world and that past and future would somehow overlap onto themselves with headaches as a consequence: much to his stupor, the sight ( a power from his father’s side ) had started to manifest, clearly triggered by years of anger and frustration.
of course that’s something no one but himself knows. he hasn’t told the council about it, because he knows he’s gonna be killed.
flashforward to now, he’s just doing his thing after yet another reminder of the council to properly behave as they’re giving him a small chance to prove he’s better than just the appointed pariah. he opened an atelier in jeonseoul where he not only offers a fabric retail service, but also prepares custom-sized outfits going from modern to more ceremonial and traditional ones. and all while, well, giving out some witchy services on the side. just know what you gotta ask ;D

- born on a warm spring day in 1963 jingyi has always felt at home in nature.
- he was born in the city, but spent most of his childhood at the park with his older sister and brother.
- he was his family's pride and joy. everything they did they did it for him.
- he went to school and made stellar grades and made a decent amount of friends.
- when he was 10 his family moved from china, the only place he’s ever know, to move to s. korea for his mother’s new job.
- he took it the hardest and found that adjusting to his new surroundings was a challenge for him. he barely made friends and his grades started to suffer.
- for his 8th grade year his entire grade took a camping trip. they called it a bonding experience. he saw it as a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
- he packed his bags and said goodbye to his family for the last time.
- everything was normal until he snuck out of the cabin while everyone was sleeping on the third night.
- while exploring he got lost in the dark and fell down a ravine. he laid there for a day before a faerie came across him. she took him to her home and healed him there.
- meanwhile at the campsite his bunk mates noticed that he was missing in the morning. they went to their teacher and the police were called. a search party was sent out for him. it lasted over a month but when no clues were discovered to his whereabouts they just push his case aside.
- that night he started taking the glamor and lived with the faeries until he came of age. he adapted to this knew life with ease. the fairies becoming his second family.
- his family slowly started to move on, but they were never the same. his parents eventually divorced and his older sister turned to drugs to cope.
- when he was 18 he was released to explore the world again, but he had to promise he would return. he decided to move to jeonseol seeing as he could stay close to the fairies, but also live a normal life.

hmm ok , so cora is far from a tragic story .. she’s full of life & love ! she was born in jeonseol actually , to a human mother & a werewolf father.. & she wasn’t the only one -- she has five brothers which she lovs but also equally h8s
her mother was the only person she kind of connected to growin’ up but tht didn’t stop her from attemptin’ to hang out w/ her brothers / do activities w/ her father !! as much as she was a girl, nobody culd guess tht she culd do a lot of things tht were meant for ‘men’ from a glance !! & equally enjoyed things tht were boys were only supposed to like !!
however, growin’ up with a lot of boys around the house onli taught cora to stand up for herself & how to be even more confident .. despite that she was the only female werewolf in their family ):
tho, around the age of ten -- the yoo’s had decided to pack up & move to canada only due to the fact that her father had gotten into some risky business ( gamblin’ ) & didn’t want anyone to come after his fam if he culd never pay w/e he owed back /:
so cora resided in canada for most of her teenage yrs, where outside of the house -- she became more ‘westernized’.. as in she hardly ever talked in korean or kept to her family traditions ; hence where her wildt side began to blossom
thru the ages of 13-17 , cora ran within a small group of people that enjoyed the rush of aderanline , alcohol , etc. anything tht made them feel lik they were livin’ their best lives ! ofc , peer pressure came into play & cora was thrusted into it however she did learn to adapt
despite her friend , cora never drank too much or did too much drugs in fear of lettin’ her secret slip of wht she actually was /: but she did make up for it in the adrenaline part , datin’ ppl she knew tht was bad for her .. doin’ dangerous things .. sometimes disobeying her parents bc ! why not ! her brothers always did , so why culdnt she ??
even tho she was a bit of a wildt child , her studies & education were always imp to her as she desperately desired to go to college ! in which she did , but however her parents were sendin’ her back to where she grew up as they felt it wuld b right for her .. to settle down , figure herself out w/o the influence of her friends & for her to connect w/ her werewolf side more
which ! at the ripe age of 19 , she had her things packed -- kissed her parents & hugged her brothers gudbye & was back in her hometown b4 she knew it ! & it’s where she’s been for the past 3 yrs :3

cora enrolled in college outside of jeonseol , in seoul & takes the train there n’ back every semester since she was 19 !! her major is in environmental sciences , as she had always had a fascination w/ science but more imp the earth !
she works at a roller rink as an attendant , gathering & savin’ money up to continue to live comfortably & hopefully return back to canada one day as she misses it dearly /:
as for her werewolf side , cora has most definitely connected w/ it more despite only being half ! she is only able to shift into her wolf form for so long & is a lot smaller not solely bc she is female but also bc of being half as well so she doesn’t attempt to go around other wolves when she does come across them .. her senses r heightened however .. by a lot , so she’s learned to control those & not appear ‘freakish’ as her friends used to say when she culd smell smth they culdnt .. hear smth b4 it was comin’, etc.
cora does enjoy hangin’ out w/ both humans & the supernatural , but does tend to b a bit scared sometimes of certain species bc she doesn’t know much about them except the stereotypical things rip ..

ok uhhhhhh h h h ... cora is heavily based off ramona from scott pilgrim vs. the world dlskfjsdlf as in she lives on the edge , does shit tht probs isnt the best for her but does so anyway bc she lovs the thrill , & has a personality tht is kind of alluring but once u get to kno her it’s either a hit or miss !
on the outside , she definitely appears lik a girl tht doesn’t enjoy gettin’ her hands dirty but bc of her brothers .. she enjoys dirt , she enjoys insects ( shes That Bug Girl ) .. has an interest in sports cars & last but not least .... lovs Girls slkdfjd BIG LESBO ALERT ! !!
due to her need for thrill & an addiction to adrenaline , she often changes the tips of her hair .. one week it culd b blue & then the next week it culd be purple !! she’s wildt lik tht ..
as for her traits: idiosyncratic - hmm .. tbh , cora is a peculiar individual ?? she has an aura tht tends to draw ppl into her , she doesn’t rlly kno why ?? & she’s a type of person tht lots of ppl dnt find themselves bein friends w/ but at the same time .. she’s everyones friend somehow ?? rustic - cora is rlly simple , there isn’t much to her aside from being half werewolf & she has an adrenaline addiction ! she’s plain , aside from tht .. fickle - exhales , ok ! so cora’s mind .. is legit always changin’ ! she’s not indecisive however she prefers to just .. have all the options kjhfds so dnt b surprised if u see her sayin’ she’s gonna do one thing but seein’ her doin’ another thing two min later rip cunning - ofc , w/ being a half werewolf , she is v quick witted .. & she enjoys gettin’ wht she wants in lyfe so , she is not hesitant to trick u into doin’ smth for her !

she doesn’t shift into her werewolf form often , unless she wants sum time alone or if it’s a full moon ( unfortunately , tht does apply to her )
