It was a good thing that Mum literally never slept because this was seriously starting to take all night. He'd spent the majority of the evening from sundown with that patch off his eye -- why? Because he had someone to find, and the only way he could find him is by seeking out certain individuals of a supernatural origin who could point him in the direction of another certain individual of supernatural origin. Vampire after vampire sent him to bar after club in search of the guy ... but so far, the badger had come up empty-handed ...
He meandered down the sidewalk with a slight slump to his shoulders and a pout to his lips -- but as he was about to walk by the entrance of yet another club, he caught an off-color trail of an aura wisping into the doors. Ah! Ah HA!
Not even bothering to slip his patch back into place, the badger with the mis-matched eyes rushed inside. The club was so full and Mum was such a tiny thing that most of the patrons didn't notice (despite the fact that he almost didn't even look old enough to be in an establishment quite like this) ... at least, no one noticed until he started to get close to one patron in particular. Unfortunately, also because the club was so full, it was surprisingly easy to bump into people and, being the klutz he was, even easier for Mum to lose his footing.
There would be a commotion then, like a domino effect, as the clumsy badger collided with body after body, never quite managing to regain his balance, one server lost her tray of drinks in a crash, a man was knocked into a woman which resulted in an unintentional grope followed by a slap to the face, a few chairs inexplicably flew several feet, and then -- splat.
Mum face-planted right into the lap of his target.
At least he'd stopped perpetually falling moving finally.
"Nnnnggggeeehhhh," he groaned as he lifted his head in a daze, reaching forward and around in an attempt to push himself up ... but remained still as he realized he was grabbing what felt like clothes and ... body parts. He looked up with that mismatched gaze, the left eye clearly inhuman, fox-like in appearance and sparking golden embers within its iris.
"Ah!" he stated suddenly with a point at what he identified as the PROPER vampire in front of him ... but not moving otherwise. "There you are!" he proclaimed with a bright smile. "I need to talk to you."
