- laying in my lap and hugging my thighs/waist UGHHHHH

- the way he talks to animals (specifically to cats)

- leaning against my chest and looking up at me

- caressing/massaging my neck

Having-spent-your-childhood-learning-improv privilege means not realizing that other DM's sometimes script the stuff their NPC's say leading to a more awkward, stilted game rather than the more natural back-and-forth dialogues you pull off without really thinking about it.

Seriously there's a forum or a magazine or a subreddit or something for it. You say something sideways about chalk drawings and you've got three dudes in your face asking if you want to take it outside. Just be aware.
