Rocket strikes me if he saw Groot get hurt in the distance or even stumbled, he'd shove his way past everybody just make sure he's okay like. ''MOVE BITCH'' and then drop on his knees picking up Groot and dusting him off making sure everything is cool. Peter and Rocket grumble like dweebs because Kraglin is in on the joke about them being ''Mom and Dad'' to Groot and how they are raising him. ''Ah man not you too.'' Peter sighs. Kraglin grins. ''Can i be the uncle?''

And Peter is like “Dude, we’re in the middle of a fight!” and Rocket yells back “Like hell I’m letting Groot get hurt!” Peter just stares at him like “All he did... was trip...” XD

shops for groceries: It’sa joint effort because if one of them went by themselves, odds are they wouldforget something, be it an item on the list or the list itself. They rely onone another to keep the other from getting side-tracked or forgetting anythingimportant.

kills the spiders: Ellison.Dude squashed a scorpion without a second thought, so imagine what he could doto a spider. And it’s not like Deputy doesn’t kill any, it’s just thatEllison always beats him to it.

comes home drunk at3am: Ellison, no question about it. However, being an officer of the lawand the anxious individual that he is, Deputy always goes and picks him up fromwherever he is. Even if it’s within walking distance of the house, he stillgoes and gets him.

makes breakfast: Muchlike with the groceries, it’s a joint effort that depends on what is currentlyhappening. If Ellison was up late the night before (working or drinking… orboth), Deputy makes it. If Deputy was up late the night before or if he’s in ahurry to get to work, Ellison makes it, but it’s usually something quick.During the weekend or a day off, it’s mostly Deputy.

remembers to feed thefish: Because Ellison is at home most of the time, he feeds them. That beingsaid, there have been numerous instances of the both of them forgetting, so theyresorted to having to leave sticky-notes all over the vicinity of the tank.

decorates theapartment: Neither are really that attracted to gaudy, over-the-top décor, so when they do decorate, it’s more of a subdued and/or casual style.

initiates duets: Thesenerds aren’t normally the type to do such a thing, but let’s be honest with ourselves,Deputy would try to start it, albeit awkwardly. And the only reason Ellisongives in is because he finds Deputy’s attempts adorable.

falls asleep first: Ellisonis used to staying up late, so Deputy is almost always the first one to fallasleep. Ellison doesn’t mind though because when he inevitably gets stressedout during the late hours of the night, the sight of Deputy sleeping relaxeshim… or at least convinces him to get his ass to bed because it’s 2 in thegoddamn morning!!
