you moved waves of steel meant to cut you at your core. if I didn’t already see the shades of blue, I wouldn’t know my palette. now no one can ever color me better than I colored myself.

You shine so bright even when you’re dull. If I could go back in time, I’d keep you polished better.

ode to self: monday

I have so many obligations this monday, but I just can’t get out of bed. I enrolled in summer classes that I know i wasn’t mentally prepared for and I am dying beneath all this stress and anxiety. I just want to be alone, so alone, for so many hours in my own head. Saturday and Sunday was not sufficient time for all this thinking and planning and doing. Just give me one last Monday, Summer 1, and I promise to never fumble on assignments or tests or quizzes again. Just. this. last. monday.

• I'm a introvert with a love of an extrovert •Constantly feel alone when surrounded by people has put me in a space where I feel like I can glow and also stand on my own two feet. • I forget that when I see the beauty in other I am also looking at the beauty in myself • I don't consider my relationships with the people I called "best friend " to exist if there is no form of communication. • I no longer care about losing people all love is lost then found anew • idk what's wrong with me • I've felt like I deserved a boyfriend. And gotten pretty fussy over it but when I was txtn God she said not right now so yeah I continue to be single • I want to end my cycle of being silent on social media (baby steps) • reinventing myself doesn't mean I have to cut my hair (lesson learned previously)
