"Toby!" Henley yelled into her phone as she rummaged through the console of her car, "Did you take the TSwift CD?! .... I don't care that you were the one that bought it! I stole it fair and square from your truck!" Between her and Claire, she wasn't sure Toby had even really had the cd in his possession to begin with. She was always stealing it if Claire hadn't already taken it. "But Toby! I j- Did you just hang up on me!?" she pulled her phone back to look at it before grumbling, "I'll fucking murder that smug little asshole, I don't care that Brett would never talk to me again. Just to knock that smug smirk off his old man face." She tossed her phone back into her purse before throwing open the door to her car.
She was only going to the square, and she was only going to take her car so she could listen to TSwift's angel voice sing to her about all the bad men out there. Like Henley would know; 1. she'd never had a boyfriend, and 2. she liked vaginas better 90% of the time. Unless your name was Colton or Hax; then she probably wasn't interested in the cucumber in your pants.
And so, reliving all the memories of the many women she'd had in her life, she trudged along in the snow towards the square. The sun had set about an hour ago, so it was getting pretty cold. She was still amazed that there was snow to begin with, much less that it was actually sticking around. But snow or not, she needed a drink and maybe a good bar fight. Maybe Caden would be there and she could get up on his shoulders so they'd be a freakish giant of fight. It had been fun that one time. She could kick people on the top of their heads from Caden's shoulders.
But her whole world came to a screeching halt as a raven haired woman stepped right into her path. Henley knew this woman. Henley had slept with this woman. Multiple times. So much that Henley had even begun to... No, she wasn't going to think about those confusing matters of the heart. "O-Odette!" Henley said as the woman gazed her in the eyes. Henley had left Odette without a goodbye. Henley had been so afraid of the pulsating need that she felt for this woman; afraid it had meant more than just sex. "W-What are you doing here?" Henley asked, her eyes still wide with surprise.
