I finally managed to display my FFXVI maid standees from @dunderella!
The Sleipnir standee is from @deckitout's etsy store
I get so shy final fantasy fandom posting gulp hi
But I’m just thinking of the idea of a freshly created egi sleipnir not having an ounce of humanity in his body. He’s jusst. Horsie. Thing. In the shape of a man
and so it’s up to 18 year old Barnabas to kind of teach him how to be human… 50 years was enough time to get it all down but sleipnir in present ffxvi still has some oddballness to him and he’s so cute for it
I will baby that 50 something year old odin creation that’s a man shaped horse. Yes I will
I'd like to think that Barnabas made Sleipnir as human as possible because he knew there'd be no human who could put up with his antics or because he never saw humans as an equal, or simply because humans pissed him off. So yeah, "That's my self-made human right there, don't be shy, he won't bite you. You don't deserve it."
Now that I look at it again, Barnabas only lifted his sword when he fought with Dion, when the Kanverians annoyed him, and when he wanted to test Clive throughout the near-end of the game. It's just like, I can't help but assume if the king himself personally wants your life, you're either so annoying or so precious for him. What a balance. As for Sleipnir? He's the one who took care of the mess before Barnabas handled it. What a #GoodPartner
