In a really self-indulgent 'the Suits lived and fled the City before it burned down then became found family' au, the only one with a normal sleep schedule is Heracles
Ariadne was both a legendary coder AND a well-known socialite. She'd wake up no earlier than 11 in the morning, eat, write the code for both her parents' company and her own clients, then get ready for a party. In the City, there is ALWAYS a party somewhere. She'd go out at 8 P.M and be in bad at 3 A.M. Sure, she's getting a nice nine hours of sleep, but her circadian rhythm is skewed about four hours to the right.
Orpheus has that artist tortured by ADHD sleep schedule, plus working a night shift for most of his life. Weeks filled with all-nighters and wild scribbles on any paper in reach, while also working through the night. After he got whatever hyperfixation he had put of his system, he completely crashes, calls out of work for a few days and then sleeps the day and night away. This got worse after Eurydice died because she was an 'in bed at 9 P.M' girlie and the empty bed made Orpheus sad.
Meanwhile Oedipus was an underpriviledged kid who clawed his way into academia and then chose the academic priffesion with both the largest workload and the most volatile schedule. Oedipus is in a constant state of working until he crashes. First he worked both to get his degrees, then he worked to get a breakthorugh, then he had to work to keep himself afloat and save up; He's not exactly used to taking a break. He wakes up at 7 and stays up until his body physically makes him stop, usually slumped over a desk at four in the morning.
Meanwhile Zeus spent most of his adult life being the most feared member of the most feared family in the City. If he wanted to go after a target in broad daylight, NOBODY was going to stop him!!!! He'd wake up at eight, 'clock in' at 9, 'clock out' at 5, pick up groceries on the way home, help the wife with dinner, play with the kids, then go to bed at 10. Now, all his dumbass roommates in their tiny ship spend the nights doing Acheron knows what!
He wakes up because Ariadne is furiously threatening her code to behave in the room next to him or Orpheus is playing his lyre at two in the morning. Oedipus is at least quiet but he's also vibrating from the caffeine intake at the dining table every morning
At some point Heracles just slings them all across his shoulders and drags them back to bed. Can they all please go get some damn sleep?????
But noooooo, Heracles has two scientists and an artist as crewmates and they all decide the middle of the night-cycle is the PERFECT time to get shit done. He swears he'll gayher them all up and lay on them to keep 'em down! (This actually works and everyone feels very conflicted about it for moths afterwards)
I love this. Always love a weird found family that's making it work (mostly)<3
