This is a temporary intro post while I work on the custom dividers I'm making for this blog!
I've noticed all the other headcanon accounts for the mechanisms have unfortunately died, so we decided to make our own!
This blog has no DNI, but we do block freely if we feel it necessary. We will try to refrain from doing so unless harassed.
Any suggestive asks will be tagged properly, and we will come up with a tag list eventually to make sure everyone can properly filter what they would not like to see.

This blog is run by a system, specifically the host and the many mechanisms fictives within. Please do not let this deter you!! We all love seeing even the hottest of takes of this fandom. We have anon turned on for a reason, you don't have to worry about judgement here! We all have different stances on everything, so if one of us doesn't want to answer a specific ask on something? Someone else will! Very few things will go unanswered!
We will also come up with a tagging system for each alter as they respond to asks, as it makes it easier for us to tell who answers what, as well as if you're looking for a specific ask that may not have an anon tag, but you know who responded to it, you are able to search that way.

Most images unfortunately we will be unable to ID, as we have many issues putting thoughts into words, as well as describing images, and combined it causes many issues trying to word image IDs in a way that would be useful. That being said, any asks with text that may affect screen readers will be copied with plain text to allow them to work properly. We are also willing to translate typing quirks, as I know in many cases it may harm the user to translate it themselves.
Any symbols that screen readers may struggle with will also gain a small description of the symbol so they may continue using it, as well as allow screen readers to tell that it's that anon.
We will try to properly tag anything that mentions triggers, but we apologize in advance if we miss a few, as with this fandom it is to be expected that many uncomfortable, hard to speak about or even illegal topics may be mentioned given the nature of the fandom, as well as what's known about them as a whole.

I run one of this blogs too so I get how exausting it is so no pressure to post more, just want to know if you’re okay!
Yes, I'm so sorry if we've worried anyone and for the delays, we'll hopefully be able to answer the backlog sometime today or tomorrow. We've been in a summer program the past 3 weeks, and have this week plus two more left, so it's been a bit hard to keep up with everything we have to do and still find time to answer these properly.

Hc- Jonny used to be so mad he was the only boy in the crew at some point. Like. At some point it was him, Carmilla, Nastya, Ashes, Scuzz and Ivy.
And when Brian showed up he was like oh just fucking great another girl HOW AM I STILL THE ONLY BOY IN HERE and then Brian came out and Jonny was like so happy and told Brian about T and binders and transmasc stuff and they’re very close since then
Wait this is cute. I like this. He'd never admit how happy he was and I think that's important to note
The mechs tried designating certain areas as 'no murder zones' but that led to multiple arguments about if it counted as breaking the rules if you killed someone who was outside the zone while standing in the zone and vice versa. Eventually they changed them all to 'no blood zones' this has the same practical effect of removing murder from the designated areas, but without any of the arguments.
This rule applies to most common areas (kitchen, living rooms, bathrooms, etc) but it also applies to certain specific areas, like the library, The Toy Soldier's tea party room, and specifically where the guns are kept in the armory (this is marked out with paint/tape on the floor)
This rule does not apply to the garden, blood makes a very good fertilizer and Brian cares about his flowers.
Tim absolutely hated his mechanical eyes when he first got them (maybe partly due to a prejudice to robots caused by his life on not-so-accepting earth), until Brian –whose eyes were almost identical to Tim's– showed him how to use them. How to focus and clearly see things that were kilometers away or focus on things that were right in front of him so deeply that he could see them in microscopic detail; that was when Tim developed his aim to nanometer precision.
And of course, when Brian showed him the thousands of new colors he could now perceive, it was all too much for him to not be enchanted by his new eyes.
The Toy Soldier is the ruler of a planet, it overthrew the last king (Accidentally or on purpose - who's to say?) and now rules. It disappears to there occasionally, for months and sometimes years.
None of the other mechs know.
It likes being in charge sometimes and that's alright. No one needs to know
how much I think the mechs were comfortable with their gender when they joined-
Jonny- was out but couldn’t pass properly not matter what, convinced Carmilla to get him proper surgery immediately.
Nastya- was out to herself, but took some time to tell the others.
Ashes- 100% out and proud
Ivy- was out and passed well. Doesn’t care about surgery or stuff like that.
Brian- wasn’t out, and figured stuff out after he found out being trans was possible
Toy- What’s a gender?
Tim- was out to themself and Bertie, and took a HUGE time to come out to the crew because of fear of transphobia
Marius- His memory was a little messed up so he was *sure* he remembered being s girl but that had to be wrong… took about a month to rember being trans was a thing and he was trans
Raphaella- out, proud, managed to do the surgery on herself, this girl is insanely amazing
giving the mechs pets!! (I have so much ‘mechs with pets’ lore in my head, I must share some of it)
Jonny has a dragon he took with him after One-Eyed Jacks and he uses it to cause havoc and burn stuff down (he is also the most caring dragon-dad ever but nobody is allowed to know that)
Ivy is a cat person, having 3 normal cats and two khoshekh type cats. One gray tabby, one brown tabby, two black cats and an orange cat that is everyone’s favorite.
Raph has birds. She has too many to count (we don’t know where they keep coming from).She feels at home with other winged creatures so birds! She mechanized all three of her favorites’ wings (to match with her wings :3) and all the other just have normal life cycles.
Naystia had a hairless cat that went to Tim when she jumped from the airlock.
Tim has cats too! (Everyone here loves cats faaarrr to much) two of his own and the hairless one.
Marius is the most friendly with the octokittens so he has been put in charge of caring for them as his own. (Makes the death more tragic, or funny depending on how you look at it)
The Toy Soldier has a whole ecosystem. It just collects and steals all the animals it can find. Starting small with a fish or two, then growing into trying to steal Jonny’s dragon once (didn’t go well)
Ashes has a German shepherd that they have trained to stay away from fire at all costs. It is very protective of Ashes and would try to jump into fire to save them. (It also disapproves of their smoking habits but we don’t talk about that)
Brian has a golden retriever because he needs a friend to cuddle with :3
They are all the Aurora’s pets.
(all of the animals are also mechanized (or in the case of Raph and the ts the favorites are) because the mechs just want immortal animal friends) (you can also make the pets more alien taken that tim is the only one from earth and that would be reflected in their pets)
Can we get more pet shenanigans. I love this.

bonus headcanon for wtnv fans; khoshekh was actually Ivy's and was dropped off in nightvale soon before the events of dttm
if this is a safe space.... I would like to say about the mechanization asker that in my mind (no hate tho this is just me) there is no way Jonny tried to kill himself or carm 😭 "I took doc carmilla's hand and we went off to roam" + the implication that he probably was mechanized by the time he actually killed Jack.... I sincerely doubt jonny didn't know about/consent to his mechanization. I would like to believe jonny genuinely did like carmilla at first but these are just my two cents teehee. love ur takes tho /genuine (im also biased as a carmilla apologist) (as well as a carm/jonny complicated toxic found family relationship truther and enthusiast)

hello, I was the anon who sent the headcanon that Jonny tried to k1ll h1mself and here is some of the reasons I think that. You can still disagree ofc, just want to explain :3-
In at least two One Eyed Jacks live performances, Jonny points his gun at himself after the whole patricide part
in the end of the song, he mentions various cards. I can pretty much find a meaning of each the cards and how they relate to the song. One of the cards mentioned is called suicide king
… which I need to point out, is the king of hearts
I do have a few more reasons but these are my main ones :)
