has anyone ever come out to you? Oh my goodness. I am very lucky to say that a lot of people have come out to me. A lot. I can name at least a dozen people off the top of my head, to give you a vague idea. I don’t know why I’m so lucky in that people have shared such a Huge, Fragile, and Important thing with me time and time again, but I’m really grateful for it. The courage and goodness really is owed to them. It takes so much strength to come out to another person. I’m truly just really fortunate that some people have felt I am a safe space to them and that I could be there to receive their truth. It’s really a beautiful thing.

what’s your favorite personality trait for a girl to have? Kindness. True genuine kindness isn’t the forced niceness that’s expected of women, but the perpetual choice to pursue the loving, gracious, and forgiving thing when malice, apathy, and criticism is always the easy way out. I think kindness trumps all. I guess it makes sense that on the flip side, nothing turns me off more from a person than maliciousness.  I already did the last one!! Thank you!

the vibe you give me is like ? a really vivid warm red tulip against pale robins egg blue sky ? like. bold and bright and singular in this v specific way that i'm struggling to articulate ? there's something about you that glows like bright flowers in the spring or late summer, the first or last to bloom -- the way you stand yr ground, the grace and generosity with which you exist, the way you grow and grow and grow towards the sun 🌷
