The first character I first fell in love with: Arya. What is really normal for me cause she's the kind of character I grew up worshipping for I've sort of let it go at this point. I do love her but I love so many others.
The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Sansa. First time I watched the show I absolutely hated her and her naive views of the world. But then the s01 finale came about and precious bby girl ;___; And then there's the books that just solidified my utter love for her.
The character everyone else loves that I don’t: Dany & Tyrion. Aka GRRM's darlings. And 90% of the reason I don't like them is exactly because they are GRRM's darling and it's SO noticeable in the text. ADWD is painful because it's all about how wonderful and brilliant Dany and Tyrion are and how they deserve the whole book to be dedicated to them with storylines that are utterly useless.
The character I love that everyone else hates: Sansa. And Catelyn, so I won't repeat myself. But they're both my precious lil things who deserve all the love. ;-;
The character I used to love but don’t any longer: There's Dany and Tyrion who lost their charms in the books but also Petyr and Cersei and Arya and SO many… I've lost my love for 90% of the characters as the story went on… And most of the time it's not really their fault, Cersei is seriously just because GRRM didn't dare write her as being competent when in charge cause he's not really as feminist as some would like to make him sound… But that's really another subject.
The character I would totally smooch: Robb. I mean, not really because then he'd want to marry me and save my honor and end up BADLY and I value him alive way too much but Robb. Precious bby boy who was so brave and so brilliant and deserved so much more ;-;
The character I’d want to be like: Meera. And Catelyn. And I never miss an opportunity to mention Laena Velaryon. Meera is just a badass, Catelyn is SO strong, and Laena is perfect. Laena rode freaking Vaghar and was more into flying than boys, she went flying to the Free Cities when she married and she just wanted to ride Vaghar one last time before she died and Laena is just my absolute fav when it comes to secondary characters.
The character I’d slap: At least 90% of them tbh, starting with the Lannisters and half the Targaryens. I mean, the Targaryens with their dreams of greatness definitely could use a slap to get back to earth. Not to mention gross first Baratheon who was a Targaryen bastard and I forever want to toss off a ravine.
A pairing that I love: Starks x being alive. SHUT UP, I LOVE MY STARK BBS AND NO MORE OF THEM CAN DIE!! And I don't ship a lot in the series cause love is irrelevant when you're fighting a war and everyone's gonna end up dead so just give me alive Starks, okay? Although Jon x Sansa is kind of my ideal end game >.>
A pairing that I despise: There are SO many, damn… Like 90% of the ships are terrible and awful and get out, but Sansa x Tyrion, Sansa x Sandor, Sansa x Petyr are especially nope nope nope. The idea that Sansa should be nice to Tyrion cause 'he's not as bad as he could be' is absolutely gross, the complete disregard for Sansa's fear of Sandor to the point she refuses to go away with him, and simply ignoring that what Petyr is doing to her is actually emotional abuse… Sometimes I understand what do people see there, but most of the time it's just 'gross, gross, gross, get it away from me'.
