i just

YOU’RE TOO HECKIN SWEET BTW LIKE OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH THAT’S ONE OF THE NICEST THINGS I EVER READ BLESS YOUR HEART
8, 9, 15,
send in a number between 1-60 for answered questions about my muse - no longer accepting - { x }
8 - “What are some of your OC’s strengths?”
i: NECROMANCY - Although it brings its own fair share of weaknesses, perhaps more than strengths, necromancy has granted her changes like slow-aging and immortality, but all to an extent. Roseanna cannot truly die from physical injuries, such as gunshots wounds, stab wounds, as well as amputations (decapitation is questionable), crushing falls, or severe blood loss. Yet, they can and will effect her the same way they would any other human being.
But if someone were to shoot her in the head, she would die on the spot. However, after a few hours (sometimes days or weeks), she will always come back.
ii: OBSERVANCE - Roseanna’s utmost strength is her discernment. She will rely on brains more than brawn, even in combat, and she’s known to read people like pages of a book sprawled wide open. Because of this, there are times were she is able to predict another’s intentions by studying their body language, from muscle tension to mere facial twitches, and all in between. Her years under severe poverty and danger demanded for such observance.
iii: EXPERIENCE - Roseanna has been around the block more than twice. All she knows had been learned first-hand, and that alone enables her to play the game with an undoubted finesse, from manipulating another’s emotions, to surviving on the streets. Bottom line is this: She knows how to get by.
9 - “What are some of your OC’s weaknesses?”
i: SEXUAL INTIMACY - Uninvited intimacy, to be exact. Roseanna’s history made a horrible impact she cannot shake off, to the point where it plays a large part in her PTSD. Most advances will roll off her back, but if heavily persisted, her reaction would be violent.
ii: SUBSTANCE DEPENDENCE - To elaborate, morphine and liquor are Roseanna’s ways of coping. Dropping the bad habit and going clean can produce horrifying results for her, so much that it could just as well be her downfall. Night terrors would be amplified to the max along with her overall mental and physical condition. She hates to admit it, despises to be so reliant on the substances, but without them, she has no chance.
iii: LOVED ONES - As cliche as it sounds, whoever manages to get under the Ryder’s skin are held close. She’s unbelievably protective of the very few she cares about, enough that she would ignore every defense instinct in her body and allow herself to be beaten to a bloody pulp if it meant they walked away untouched.
15 - “What makes your OC angry?”
Many things. Roseanna can be a dynamite with a short fuse at times. It’s more of a defense mechanism than a simple short-temper. Generally, she’s often described as “cool-headed”—so reserved one wouldn’t suspect that there’s something terribly wrong inside. But confrontation about her self-abuse will spark annoyance, whether it’s regarding to her drug abuse, alcoholism, or demanding for her to go to sleep (seeing how that’s easier said than done in her case). As for poking at touchy subjects (what had happened to Ellie and Elijah, her experience with human trafficking, her mother, etc), that will always end in fire and unanswered questions.
