There’s a melody the fox doesn’t know, but familiarity fills his senses either way ;  it’s enough to make him look, searching for the source of nostalgia.

What he finds shouldn’t surprise him—- At this point of life, not many things should —.           It does anyway. —         It’s not the what but the who.               For how little he knows of the wolf, things were bound to be unexpected && discoverings a little gift you can only graze the surface until opened  ;  having these little facts into consideration, the peace held by a being that seemed representative of the opposite spectrum really should cause a bit of astonishment. A bit.

Maybe it’s because of how invested he is on this creature that the reaction is STRONGER. Maybe it’s because of how bored he has been lately, not many interesting news found in the common lives besides the same repetitive pattern of anguish.           "Maybe", the fox thinks as he takes a seat with Elijah, it’s just the wolf by itself.

He waits upon dead roses the GRAND FINALE of a catalyst set inconspicuously one fated night so many moons ago. He had risked the anger of a God && the sentiment oh, so familiar, felt like endorphin to an aching body. It’s a game dominated through many years of reckless egoism ;  so little loss, so many gain, with the odds forever in your side, who wouldn’t dare to risk destiny? Moreover when it didn’t belong to you, but to insignificant peons.                     Kings&Queens&Paladins  ;  even those were  n o t h i n g.        They all reached an end played by a blasphemous hand && who paid the price?  NOT HIM.

                   But this time was different. This time, he had everything to gain. . . And the loss? The loss was measured in equality.               (   Everything, he would lose everything.    But when the stars aligned && the string intertwined without CARE for the damage of casualties such as him, the shining ticked that lead to nowhere.    When loss was already attained because a scornful God decided so centuries ago,,, what was there to fear?   )        In addition, one could said nothing truly changed—- Except for the odds, screaming against the foolish dreaming soul.

And even so, following the rules of The Fool the fox made himself to be,  HE PLAYED.  If he won or in contrary, increased the speed of the fall, only one could confirm.  One the once wise spirit waited for in a very known field adorned with wild blossoms of spring.

❛ Obviously the second one— -  Of course not, you dipshit. Think about the environment. ❜ He took a sip of the whiskey to hide a smile of amusement, thinking about the chances one had to take in order to end up in a bar discussing about dead bodies as if they were talking about the weather. A few questionable ones, surely.

Did it count as  n e g o t i a t i o n  if he held an amicable chat with the enemy? Hyuksoo hoped pictures wouldn’t arrive to higher hands that could put in compromise loyalty so hardly earned but knew better than to expect the contrary. This was such a bad idea to entertain, such a dangerous —reckless— move to play  ;  so out of character the agent could only put blame to the alcohol even if it wasn’t quite the truth.            Did it matter though? CHEOL HO loved to play with fire, he was only followed along with the program. Arrived the moment, he’d know what actions to take && what words to say to get out of it unpunished.   Right, this is not about Hyuksoo meeting with wanted man  ;  this is about Cheolho looking out for a bit of fun. He was good to go ahead with whatever the fuck this was going to go.
