The light compliment brought a small smile to the actors face. “Flattery will get you, many places my friend...go on.” His drink being placed next to him by the bartender. “Well, truthfully this is my second year here. From what I’ve heard these kind of events are of very rare occasion, they don’t often happen, but once they do it’s more amazing than anything you’ve ever been to.” 🎥

She’s dressed in casual wear: a forest green saree with golden embroidery and brown detailing, heavy golden accents and soft, plush kitten heels. Her hair lacked its usual braid but fell all the way down her back and past her waist. A light brown shawl kept the rebellious strands of hair from her eyes.

She was comfortable. Resting. The palace would not have her presence tonight.

Her steps have no real destination in particular but she soon finds herself standing before the blooming flower bushes in the gardens. The floral scent brings a serenity that she hasn’t felt in weeks and Jade kneels down to be in closer proximity. It felt good to be home again. ❝ You going to watch me all day love? ❞

“Li mei, it is a pleasure to have met you on this day.” Well, her introduction does answer his earlier thought of question. Yet now he was curious of how much he had taught her, how much did she know? “I will do my very best, to be of good company to you, Li mei.” He wasn’t exactly the most social of individuals around, never exactly great when it came to just simple person to person talk...but he tried. And so the two began their walk along the halls, Liu thinking of the path he took to get to his room. “I believe these stairs should take us two the main halls where everyone else should be, as well as the outside.”

Always the damn reports. Like the threat from Outworld, they were never ending, and could be just as deadly if you didn’t stay on top of your shit. Jax kept his squared away as often as possible as he didn’t relish sitting at a desk.

“Some methamphetamine oughta do the trick,” he replied dryly with the barest hint of a smile. The drug had been used in the past by soldiers to stay awake, with one notable example of a Finish soldier staying awake for a week. Dangerous, but effective, like most of their work. “Otherwise, I got a trick of my own. A little coding tweak and this can automate a signature for you.” He nodded toward his cybernetic arm casing that he was working on. It was something he used, his signature already programmed into the coding. Work smarter, not harder.
