◙ “Oh- ah,” he stuttered uncharacteristically, and quite obviously nervous. The Orc had been lucky thus far to not have been knee deep in trouble the moment he left the sight of the Mordor mountains behind him, but finally someone managed to spot him. Or rather, he unceremoniously trampled into an abrupt clearing in the midst of the forest and immediately came face-to-face with... an Elf? The ones with the pointy ears? Not the ones with beards; those were Dwarves. And sometimes Men. What a headache.
Instinctually, Ratbag’s hands found their way up, palms facing outward submissively. “Ah- sorry bein’ a bother to intrude. Don’t mind me. Keep on, ah, talkin’ to the plants or whatever you Elves do. I’ll just be on my way!” he offered in an expression closer to a grimace than a nervous grin. He dared not turn his back; weren’t most Elves uncannily dangerous, after all? Had to be some reason the old vatkeepers told horror stories of the slender creatures with strange, unblemished skin not riddled with a single scar.
