After watching the OffCameraShow with David Tennant and Robert Downey Jr (both episodes) I started watching the other episodes too because no matter who's the guest the conversation is always interesting. While scrolling through past guests list I noticed David Harbour’s name, so I clicked. And jeez. The moment he said ‘Oh I was going to kill myself’ with this casual tone of voice and then when he explained how this changed his mindset... Relatable. I mean, people often react with pure horror and think you are either joking or being completely crazy (idk why, but people have this kind of stereotype that you should be visibly moved while talking about suicide and mental health). And when you try to explain that there was a super dark point in your life, but it’s over or you’ve changed and so did your mindset, they don’t actually believe or start acting weird. There is a major problem with acknowledging that somebody may say ‘I almost killed myself’ without crying and shaking and also, that somebody may want to talk about this dark period of their life because it was an important turning point for them.

Honestly, go watch the show. I’m sure you’ll find some of your faves in there and the access to full episodes is super cheap. I think it’s worth supporting. That’s how the interview should look like.
