'I asked chatgpt' well I asked the eighth doctor and he looked really sheepish and then said that everybody’s dead, that that’s one of the problems with time travel. everybody’s always dead, and everybody’s always alive. it’s all a question of where you’re standing
That one time misandrist terf jellyfish aliens tried to cancel the doctor for being a man born into patriarchy and sam was like broooo his pronouns are literally they/them
what an insane response

It’s like three in the morning so I’m not having the most coherent thoughts about this, but just rotating the edas and identity and autonomy. Who are you if you can’t remember yourself? Are you still you? Is your identity stored in your memories, or is it something deeper, built in? But then are you still yourself if you remember everything but are no longer the original you? Is there a real you? Does the concept of a true identity even exist in a world where timelines can be changed and one life can so easily be swapped for another without you even knowing? Is the real you the original or the person you remember being? Do you ever get a choice in who you are or are you just another piece in a game you can not comprehend? Is killing another you worth bringing back the one people remember?
