10x10 weave assignment part two: Texture - Leaf. Trying my hand at some Ikat although I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm using copic markers to "dye" the warp. I'm still not sure what colour I should make the weft, it's surprisingly hard to find info online and I can't library because its a public holiday.
10x10 Sparky weaving is pulling in at the sides a bunch, which is probably something I should have thought of in advance and now I’m a little cross with myself. However, I’m really liking what I’ve completed so far so I’m going to go ahead and finish the piece anyway. Hopefully it’s ok being a little skinny.
