Put the phone away, sport
As incredulous as this might seem, this is indeed the case. We are instructing you, by the power invested in this post, to take it easy tonight. Don't drink caffeine, stay away from alcohol, and most importantly of all, keep your phone out of sight—and out of mind. Because your phone, and social media in particular, has the power to wreck havoc with your sleeping pattern. And a wrecked sleeping pattern, more often than not, will mean a wrecked day. So put your phone away a little earlier tonight, and treat yourself to a good book and a chamomile tea, so when it comes to lights out and honk honk shooooo, you'll really make it sing. Tumblr will be there waiting for your in the morning with bed and breakfast, and woodland creatures gathered at your window. If this all sounds good to you, which of course it does, then check out all the zzz goodness over at #world sleep day. Here, the sleeping fandom community are celebrating just how very lucky we are that we get to curl up in bed every single night. Sweet dreams.

Shiyu spends the few free remaining minutes of the afternoon at the at the empty white wall she's spent the better part of a day clearing, rest of the furniture pushed haphazardly around the room, and runs over the routine a few more times in her head. Outfits on hangers strung up in her bathroom, the bedroom nook adjacent to the main living area. Electrical tape a few feet off the wall, x marks the spot.
It's a solid set up, better than the first commercial sets she walked onto aged 15, 16. Because it matters more, she thinks. The fact it's all in a day's worth, or a whole semester accounting for the clothes, doesn't take away the sense of accomplishment of finally seeing it through.
This Michael, or Mike— Micah guy with his camera is really the last moving piece for which she needs to account. The clock is just shy of a minute past their appointed time when there' a knock directly her door, no text to be let in the building entrance— someone else probably leaving at the same time, holding the up the doors.
She pads across to the door, leans impassively against the hallway closet to crack it open at slight angle, flick her eyes up.
"Ah, hi." Shiyu greets, quickly identifying him as the very same from their last meeting outside the photography club meeting, cursory introductions. Taller, brown hair, pleasant disposition at an arm's length. "You made it okay?"
Without waiting for an answer, she toes back around the corner, gestures him to follow with a one shoulder shrug, sideways nod to the open area of living room. "There's a table in here if you need to set up, or put your stuff down."
I feel like it's been ages since I colored something. Especially something on toned paper, so to have something different and to see if I'm still good at this, I drew my sona!
Her coat may look a little messy because I had to mix and match colored pencils to get the light grey but I think over all it turned out well.
I had lots of fun with it so either way it's a win lol
