my fiance just texted me to ask when our honeymoon is, when the answer is in his own damn email inbox, and I wish that just one person would ask him “you don’t know when your own honeymoon is?” with the same level of derision and scorn multiple people have employed to ask me “you don’t know your own wedding colors?”

the wedding colors are “there are none,” I promise the marriage will still be legal without colors.

everyone acts like I’m such a precious bitch when they ask about my wedding and I don’t react the way they want me to, and the truth is I’m just so fucking angry that it’s all on me, all of the time. if I dare to say something like “I’m getting married for a husband, not a Kitchenaid, so no, I’m not having a bridal shower,” people act like I have 3 heads.

not to mention the sheer number of people who asked about our officiant and suggested their rabbi, their minister, or asked if the person officiating is someone I know “since you’re not religious,” and I’m just trapped in a hole because I am extremely religious, it’s just that my religion is witchcraft, and I don’t talk about it.

Yikes, I understand that times are changing, but it sucks to know that there are still arrogant jerks out there in the world to harass people over who they are and their decision to marry someone regardless of their own facets (race, religion, social status, politics, sexaulity, etc.).

I can see that these women enjoyed being together in matrimony and, when I saw their wedding being featured on Offbeat Bride, I did got worried over them being literally on fire with their dresses, but thankfully, they have experiences with performing with fire, followed every fire safety rule, and had professionals on hand to prevent any fire hazards.

I just hope that those intolerant a-holes will realize their mistake in harassing these lovely ladies for their marriage and their sexual orientations within several years from now. Damn it, LGBT-phobics!!!
