But basically I’m really happy to see someone who really plays up the depth and complexities of the character, and fuckkkkkk if this girl doesn’t do it like an ACE!!

@offerslove​ / gladys jones: you invented gladys jones and i really look to your portrayal of gladys to how she would act to certain situations. i especially love what you’ve done with the hunger and our vampironica threads. it’s so nice to see the different facets of gladys especially those surrounding the supernatural / horror runs. i still will always praise you about how i love that gladys is a positive, loving mother. i don’t think all mothers should be painted in such a negative light. she would do anything for her children and her adopted children. i’m glad that i’m graced with such a multi-faceted and wonderful portrayal of gladys jones.

lee ! i want to shine the spotlight of how you write gladys and paint adults in a positive light. i think tv, books, and all sorts of media forget there are actual parents that can be amazing role models. i think your blog captures that perfectly and i wish there were more adult characters written in a positive light. gladys radiates warmth and love so easily, for her family and the people that she loves. i think those are some of the traits you share with her because i’m so glad we’re friends and we met. you’ve got such a big heart like gladys. i think people should look at your blog and see that not all adults are manipulative and might not have their kids best interests at heart. but i also want to just express my gratitude of how much you give so much for gladys despite her appearances in the comics. you do so much for her and i hope others can see that as well. i am so happy to see you on my dash, always.
