Who am I? That's a bit of a deep question!! But thank you for asking! I'll tell you my (brief) pottery story, but that will have to do for now..... I was accepted for a Fine Arts Degree. But I went to work in a pottery studio during the holidays.....and didn't leave for many years! There was a thrower at the studio whom I was fascinated by, and I became his apprentice (subject matter for my soon to be written parable "the potters apprentice"). I became a production thrower. I worked in many studios full time and part time over 20 years! In between I did a Bachelor of Design Degree, Ceramics, was an artist in residence, set up my own production studio and travelled around the world. I have taught pottery to many people and (very accidently) built a busy teaching studio that I recently retired from. Now, after 47 years around clay, working hard, I want to help people be able to work full time, or part time, in ceramics, earning a passion living doing what they love! Stick around, watch the fun unfold as hubby and I head off for bus life, off-grid, and learn from me if it fits with you via the pottery app I'm developing! #offgridpotter #buslife #learpottery #thepottersway #pottery #potterylifestyle #potterylife https://www.instagram.com/p/CdHrBxvrZg5/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
