One way to communicate that a building houses a bank is to sheath the structure in golden panels. Such was the decision taken for the 7-story head office of CCEI GE (Caisse Commune d'Epargne et d'Investissement Guinée Equatoriale) along the autoroute on the edge of Equatorial Guinea’s capital, Malabo. Other than beating the observer over the head with the silly, loud color, it is just another derivative of the boring, suburban corporatism, a dull 1980s Kohn Penderson Fox.
