The dead end of your dreams
The house on the block that everybody wants
The Children of Spite are the offspring of a lost generation of a lost state. They live in a derealized suburban lot, littered with soda cans and quartz, overgrown with dandelions, the supple yellows, the soft gray reminders of maturity never reached, dispersed in the gentle winds. They are blessed with an eternal present by the silver butterfly, but a future cursed, swollen shut by the lasting sting of the bumblebee. Resourceful children, their scraped knees heal in the antibiotic of the weeds. Born with steel forks in their mouths, not spoons, they speak like the shards of a shattered tea party. Soft parenting with a hard consequence, the Children of Spite do not bathe. Yet, the grass grows clean. The wildflowers grow vibrant.

Tap into the latest Psychosis Magazine print ad for Dream Job, the new derealized office park from Rainbow Townhome Real Estate. Now accepting commercial tenant and park management applications. Dream Job is located in the deep forest commerce district, just outside the intersection of reality and fantasy, open from dark morning till dusk.
You live in a derealized townhouse community developed by Rainbow Townhome Real Estate. Here, the days are long like childhood dusk. You have the freedom you've always dreamed of without the obligations of adulthood, but enough responsibilities to feel a sense of purpose. This is college, and it doesn't last forever, but Rainbow Townhome Real Estate does….
What do I know about madness other than hope?
I've washed my mouth out ~
I can taste it now,
the molasses
maladaptive,
a slice of orange cake
to give mass to the intangible ~
Food brings us closer to hope than anything else,
even art leaves us malnourished,
a wanting for taste ~
We must eat to survive.
Even the things we want but cannot have,
this hope,
needs calories
