Employment spell

What you need

Green candle

Brown sugar

Rosemary

Olive oil

Cinnamon

Safe place to burn shit

Something sharp to carve with

On the candle carve the amount of money you want to make, carve the name of the job position you want, if on a deadline write the date you need it by.

Anoint the candle with the olive oil and cinnamon.

Mix the rosemary in the brown sugar and create a candle stand.

Please note sugar is flammable so this needs to be in a safe place and monitored

Light the candle and let it burn fully

"Money is sweet on me, success is courting me, my pockets are deep and overflowing" are affirmations suggested to go with this spell.

Continue your job search secure in your knowledge the position you want is coming your way in a timely manner.

Disposal of the spell ingredients:

Bury them

Leave them in a cross roads

Place them on train tracks

Pray to the Roman goddess of toliets and flush them

I've been unemployed for over 16 months now but have been mentally and physically blocked from making up a spell myself. So my therapist gave me hers to try.

A personal stash of tea hidden behind a false back in your desk drawers

Sending cryptic messages to your coworkers via paper airplane (much to the disdain of management, who cant figure out who keeps doing it)

Low light plants and succulents in your cubicle or office to cope with the low natural light of the corporate offices

Doing readings with your makeshift oracle cards in the bathroom for your coworkers

Plug in Himalayan salt lamps like

Electric tea candles for both safety and ambience

We all know witches love glass jars and bottles. But, creating spell jars and burying them outside is not always cost-effective, environmentally friendly, or even safe. Imagine finding a powerful spell jar and opening it... that could go wrong quickly. And if you live in an apartment or dorm, finding somewhere to bury a spell is difficult enough, without having to bury a solid container.

A much more cost-effective container would be a dried corn husk, or a large outer cabbage leaf, or even a non-bleached paper towel. Wrapped around the spell ingredients and tied with cotton string, the spell can be buried and will return to the earth, grounding the magic.

Save your jars and bottles for potions, tinctures, bitters and for your home apothecary.

I befriended the local Office Witch. When I expressed admiration for a plant, she picked a stalk of it, coaxed it to grow in a glass of water, and brought in dirt needed to plant it. Also, I continue with the Inktober sketches.

I had bad energy today. Couldn’t focus and just in a funk. I left work early but was sure to spray my cubicle with my cleansing spray before I left. Hopefully tomorrow will be better!
