One day my dad woke me up from my sleep to tell me Rutgers was on the phone about a job opportunity. I was so confused but within a couple of hours I was on campus interviewing for the job. I got it and started working my first day as a college student, September 1, 2011. This job was only supposed to last for nine months. Five years, two months and four days later I finally said goodbye. It's unbelievable that on November 4, 2016 I signed out for one last time. No words can express how grateful I am to have worked with some pretty amazing people. College was rough and working four jobs was harder but they were always there to listen to my problems and cheer me on during the times I felt like giving up. They became family. I was their daughter and I became one lucky girl to have several people I looked up to as a mother figure. I didn't expect to cry as much as I did and I'm scared for what's ahead but I'm grateful for their continuous support. As this chapter in my life comes to an end it's time to write my new chapter tomorrow. To my NJSBDC family I love you guys and always remember... these hoes ain't loyal. #ihaveanuglycryimgface #beloyal #so #officevoice (at Rutgers University—Newark)
