Iāve come to the conclusion that diet culture officially needs to be banned. Your body fuels everything you do, having fat is what would keep you alive in an emergency situation. Fat also protects your organs from almost everything. Iām not saying eat junk food all the time or anything, obviously eating healthy is still important, but counting calories, avoiding entire food groups, avoiding ever eating outside of what the media decides is āhealthyā doesnāt protect your body. It affects mental health too, if you arenāt fueling your body enough itāll throw your hormones way pit of whack, so especially if you already have any mental health issues itāll amplify them.
All this to say, if you havenāt eaten, go eat, please. And drink (water preferably but honestly anything.) And donāt you dare listen to the haters <3
