I AM ONLINE AND READY FOR YOUR WRITING HELLO. alright so: first, last, and my prompt is... neighbors!au (????) owo
FIRST — the first two sentences of my current projectmichael/gavin, thank you for flying with us-verse, still a character study on michael+ryan relationship because that’s the part I’m working on
“Okay. Here’s a fun, little science trivia. Did you know that staring intently at a blank word document will not actually make the words appear on the screen?”
Michael gives a middle finger over his shoulder without even bothering to look back.
“Scientifically speaking, of course,” Ryan adds to the silence, in mock seriousness. “It’s a technology thing,” he says, drawing out the word tech-no-lo-gy like he’s a kindergarten teacher and Michael is that one kid in the class that’s slower than everyone else. “You might have heard of it.”
LAST — the most recently written two sentences of my current projectthank you for flying with us-verse, so, I guess michael+ryan and little bit of michael+ray friendship, continuing the part I just wrote in that other ask
And, well. Michael wouldn’t admit it even under gunpoint, but he does love his best friend. Ryan has been a constant presence in Michael’s life ever since the day they sat side by side in Introductory Physics, and Ray might be Michale’s Heterosexual Life Partner (not that he’s heterosexual in any way, shut up, the phrase is catchy, okay), but things between them have shifted and changed over the years. Ryan, on the other hand, is a constant.
[insert prompt here] — you post a prompt, and i’ll write three sentences based on that prompt, set in the same time/setting as my current projectneighbours au, ray/ryan, the raywood-au-side set in thank you for fying with us-verse
When Ray agreed to move to the apartment room beside Michael and his new college buddy Ryan, he was thinking more of late night runs to McDonald’s and 24-hours-long Xbox party instead of really hot, really ripped, ‘I-don’t-see-the-point-in-wearing-clothes-inside-the-apartment-because-I’m-a-fucking-savage’ neighbour.
“Hey, you must be Ray,” Ryan greets with a small wave, and seriously, are those arms real? Is this real life? “Michael wouldn’t stop talking about you,”
“Yeah, actually, excuse me, I just remembered I have to set myself on fire,” Ray blurts, and practically runs out of Michael’s apartment.
