Again, working on building drive and power through my legs and hips, all to help with those apex jumps! Keeping nice and tall, using my arms to follow the movement up and forcing my knees as high as I can. Resistance bands for intensity, workload: 3x10 each way. Starting off on the ground, driving up through the step up, building through full hip ROM. The explosive movement can help build the power through the take off leg(s) for banging out those Apex jumps! Notice I try to keep upright at the start position, through the drive up and at the top and then likewise in the way back down. Not bending at the hips flexors stops any shortening of these and internal flexion muscles, if the shorten you wont use them fully. I follow the drive through with my arms ensuring all the energy and force go upward. Lateral movement is so important for jammers; balance and power coming out of a juke can move you across track and round a wall before the opposition realise where you are👍🏽 The top video was my second round, focusing on the pause and getting low off the Bosu. Bottom video i added in a resistance band to increase intensity.
