I watch Batman (1989) whenever I have holidays. What movie do you watch regularly without getting tired of it? Hmm... I guess I'd have to say Avengers Assemble. It used to be Who Framed Roger Rabbit haha :)

What superpower would you like to wake up tomorrow with and why? Flight. Because being able to fly would be so amazing and when I was a kid I used to spread my arms out really wide and run around the garden pretending I could fly so I guess that's why. It's always been a thing with me....and my dad funnily enough...he jumped off the garage roof when he was a kid trying to prove to the other kids that he could fly... broke both his legs I think the story goes....

If you were to write a book what would it be about? Ooohh... that's a tough one... see I write a lot anyway, and I always have these insanely crazy ideas... but one that I would love to be able to finish is called Codename: Falcon. I can't really explain what it's about without giving the plot away too much... but yeah...maybe one day :)

Weirdest or most out of place thing you have in your room? Well now...*ahem* for those who know me, my entire room is weird...I have flags hanging from the walls, posters of ACIII, Halo 4, Avengers etc etc. Pictures of KPOP Idols and Anime Characters, Photos of friends and family, tickets to concerts, ornaments from india, panama, china, etc etc... yeah my room looks like you just walked into a carnival tent. So I'm gonna say the weirdest and most out of place thing in my room (for my room) is my lamp. It's just a chrome one from ikea. Really plain and really boring.... So I'm definitely going to have to get a new one with an obscure lampshade.

If you could be a celebrity for a day who would it be? Susan Downey...because not only is she an AMAZING producer but also I can only imagine the FUN that woman must have with RDJ as a husband!

Are you pissed off you’ve done this? You’re half way now may as well finish it Naw, I've been putting it on the long finger for ages cos I was too lazy to go get my laptop and have been using my phone :P

Do you still have a VCR in your house? We have what I call a hybrid... the ones that have both and are also DVD recorders :)

How did you end up on Tumblr? Oh god.....well there was this REALLY LOUD BANG.... and I just kind of...Exploded onto the scene.

Whats your opinion on downloading movies and music off the internet? Well, you either do it or you don't. I don't download them personally, but I have watched my fair share of downloads... so I mean who am I to judge? Although I do love having my own hard copy of certain films :)

Are you proud of being from the country you live/were born in? Hell yes! I might not be proud of the Irish Government, but I am definitely proud to be Irish! :)

Favorite film/book/cd? *whines in a childish voice* Do I haaaveee to choose?? Ugh... Favourite Film... of all time, I cannot decide, but I do love The Wind that Shakes the Barley, Snatch, Human Traffic and most of the superhero movies.....yup... well.. I said I couldn't decide! Then book would probably be Going Postal by Terry Pratchett, that shit is hilarious! And CD? Hmm... anything with Bruce Springsteen on it.

Zoning Issues

So after months of saving, today I finally bought my drysuit! Something thats been on the list for a long time, it means that i no longer have to worry about my dry pants filling with water when I do swim. Thankfully this is happening less and less the more I paddle but it still happens, as it does to us all.

So whats next you ask? Well i still have a good bit of the summer left to go and rumors are that there's a lot of water on the way. So i thinks its time to push it that little bit more. Grab the guys and get going around the country and do rivers we've never done before. With offyouscoot joining me in Kinsale this year, I really wanna get back to grassroots with him. None of this pissing around will we wont we. Back to where we started, when we were trying something new. Back to I dont know any better so lets just do it.

Sometimes I miss that about paddling with some of the other lads. We've hit a comfort zone and we're too afraid to leave it for fear of what might happen. After my swim on Jacksons a few weeks ago, I came to the realization that i know the worst that can happen. I swim, I break some gear, garner a bruise or two for a week and thats it. No "oh shit he swam its the end of the world". Its more "You swam! you ok? good HAHA you swam do" More of the lets get on with it attitude.

I know this is starting to sound like I dont wanna be safe on the river anymore, but its intended to be the complete opposite! I do wanna be safe and I do still wanna take the same precautions when running it. Hell, it's the reason that I'v never been seriously injured while doing this!

But what I do wanna do is get out of my comfort zone. say to hell with the boundaries that I'v placed around myself and go and get some big-ass paddling done!
