Taking one flippant wording out of an entire article? "Sounds like cherry picking to me. If that's what people take away from the article, then our society is well beyond saving." Rafael shrugged, in his best attempt to play it off with charm and nonchalance.
To be entirely fair, the art world wasn't his usual battleground, and he wouldn't have dabbled in it if the whole affair wasn't so socio-politically loaded. He loved picking fights with the high and mighty. The museum only happened to be caught in the crossfire, and Rafael's writing didn't make it seem as though he was appreciating his battleground enough, well, at all.
