STANDING in the doorway to his own back yard, it was almost a wonder that neither of them had noticed him yet. them being the golden haired lab that was currently laid out on his back, belly rubs coming from the equally golden haired man who lived next door to him. one brow was arched up as he watched their interactions, and he could see the bit of pizza crust that he had suspected his proud companion had been coming home after eating laying next to the duo. “you know,” he said, breaking his own silence. “if you wanted to pet my dog, you could have just asked. july isn’t much a GUARD dog. he doesn’t bite.”
