Of Jade and Dragons by Amber Chen

★★★★ 3.5 stars If I were a teenager reading this book, I would have rated it higher. As an adult, however, it becomes more difficult to rate

3.5 star. Of Jade and Dragons is fun, but the writing felt closer to middle-grade making it difficult to rate. Ying is a good MC but lacked some maturity for an 18-year-old. I hope there will be more worldbuilding and writing growth from Chen in book two.
