The goddess Palutena recognized that some issues could not be dealt with by sending in the troops.  To assume so would be foolhardy and if she'd sent Pit to handle this particular problem, she knew it was very likely she could lose him again or that he'd ruin the negotiations with his precious child-like banter.

Fortunately, the "foe" she planned to go up against did not appear to have any affiliations with the other gods.  If this encounter turned sour, little consequence would come of her subsequent actions.

After leaving Pit in charge, the goddess descended from Skyworld in a corporeal form, taking normal size as she appeared before the offender.

"Ash Landers," she greeted grimly, taking this matter seriously, "I've heard many things about you."

Of-Purity-And-Madness wandered into the metal world.

Previously, the robot had been sitting on his golden throne as usual, silent and unmoving. He hadn't even been doing the function of breathing. Requiem appeared to be a statue, or even one of his nonliving dolls if there hadn't been a wiser. Soon however, the silence was broken by footsteps. Requiem finally stirred, sitting up slightly straighter and keeping a close eye on the entrance to his throne room as a new and unfamiliar figured appeared. Pure white?.. Nearly everything on them was a pure white. How odd.. they weren't like any of the dolls he had created, none of them appeared in this stranger's fashion, "Hmn.. good evening, sir.. what reason do you have to be here?.. Did you come with any others?.."

The angel navigated from hall to hall before finally reaching the one that housed the door to her brother’s room. Having never been one for knocking when it came to Ash, the angel slide open the door to his room, before closing it behind her.  She paused for a moment to take a glance around his room before noticing the light in one of the doors that remain gaping. Almost certain that was were he was, she made way to it, so distracted by what she was going to ask him, that she forgot where that particular door was situated at. “Hey Ash, do you know wher-” As she ended up at the mouth of the door, she remembered in the back of her mind where exactly that room led to. Too late did she remembered, resulting in the vision of her counterpart dripping wet from the shower, and without dress. Instead of shouting at him like she would had it been another person, she simply squeezed her eyes shut and began to walk away, collapsing on his bed. After all, she had been the one who had neglected to knock. “That was not something I needed to see today,” she muttered, trying to block out the mental image. “Sorry Ash! I didn’t know!”

A Morning Visitor

♙ - It was early morning as Tanaka walked through the halls of the manor. The young master was sleeping, as well as the other servants, excluding the butler, whom he could hear stirring within his room. He was sat in the kitchen, leisurely sipping his morning tea, when he heard someone knocking at the door. "I suppose Sebastian will get it..." With that thought, he more or less disregarded the knocking. It was when the knocking did not cease that Tanaka got up and went to the door. Upon opening, he found Ash Landers, butler to Her Majesty. Tanaka bowed deeply, gesturing inside the manor. "Good morning, Mister Landers, do come in."
