So, basically I owe everyone a huge apology

It has been way, way too long since I logged into this account.  It has also been way, way too long since I've updated The Star-Filled Sky, despite saying that I was going to.

Long story short: my health has been crap (as usual, but the humidity we're having this summer is death to my arthritis (I have lupus/RA/fibromyalgia) and I've had to prioritise a lot of other work.  

The good news is that the other work involves two story sales (neither of which I've been able to announce publicly yet, dammit), an almost-complete novella that I'm going to be sending out soon, and a novel draft (original work).

And to tell the truth, I've been kind of burned out on fandom.  But I've had some really amazing comments and asks lately, and I'm thinking that I'm going to start scheduling time to get The Star-Filled Sky finished (and the sequel, for which I don't have a name, but I know vaguely what's going to happen in it).

So basically, I'm sorry to everyone who's been waiting for updates.  I'll try to start updating again as soon as I can.

General updatery

Just wanted to pop in quickly so you don't all think I've been zapped off to Asgard or something ;)

Firstly, I've had a few people leaving some really damn nice comments on my fic of late.  Seriously, life has been pretty hard of late, and getting those comments...well, they're worth a helluva lot.

Secondly, I *really* want to get back to updating The Star-Filled Sky regularly soon. I have a fairly ridiculous amount of work on my plate at the moment, but I'm hoping to get some of that cleared soon.  Maybe. It *will* be finished, though.  I just need to work my way through everything else first.

And thirdly, hi!

The Star-Filled Sky update schedule

Right now, I'm taking a break from other writing projects (fan fiction = holiday, aka waiting for drafts to sit in a drawer for a time before I start rewriting) so you can probably expect two or three chapters of The Star-Filled Sky a week until the whole thing is done.  Currently looking like it'll be novel length, the same as The Blood-Dimmed Tide.

Hiatus

This blog is officially on indefinite hiatus.

Because fandom is supposed to be fun, and it's not feeling much like fun these days.  I've spent most of the last few days seething, and I do not like that.

I was at the point yesterday of deleting this blog as well as all of my fanfiction, I was getting so angry sick about things.  And this has been a cumulative thing, with more than one thing happening in the last few days.  I'm at the point where I feel like I'm throwing energy into an abyss, basically.

For now, the fics are staying up.  I will probably be updating The Star-Filled Sky, but don't expect any kind of schedule.  Everything else is on hiatus.

A much belated story from my prompt ask a while ago, written while I was dithering about other work.

TRIGGER WARNING LIKE WHOA: for rape, sexual assault, intent to kill and other dark things.  This is hurt/comfort folks, please look after yourself or avoid.  The triggery stuff is right up front, so just walk on by if it's an issue for you.
