Truth be told ( and it was so rarely told these days ) Harry had NO IDEA what to expect. What did someone even wear to something like this? ( He settled on black shirt, black sweats, and something that was suspiciously like a mask; if ANYONE found out what he was doing... God he couldn’t think about it. ) Every sound on the way seemed to make him jump --- on his long list of STUPID IDEAS, this had to be pretty high.

But the more he thought about it, the more it made sense, right? If you wanted to go against a superhero, you outta learn from one. Besides, he was fresh out of anything else resembling A LEAD on Spider-man’s location, his identity, his reason, so this would have to do for now. 

He found Arsenal right where the man would said he’d be.

“OH NO, YOU’VE DEFEATED ME!” and with an exaggerated groan, he falls to the floor, giving one last half hearted attempt at getting up before falling back with his eyes closed and tongue lolling from the corner of his mouth. lian hops to sit on his stomach and oliver peeks through a cracked eyelid at her before surging up with tickling fingers, listening to the best sound in the world: a granddaughter’s laugh. 

ANOTHER ROUSING GAME of ‘lian versus’ where the little one would pretend to be a various hero and oliver would be the nemesis for her to defeat. this time it had been wonder woman versus solomon grundy and it wasn’t until after lian’s laughter from the tickling has died down that oliver realizes they have an audience. lian scampers off of his stomach and to her dad while oliver picks himself off the ground with a groan. much different when he didn’t have adrenaline from a fight rushing through him. dammit, he might be getting old. 

“YOU MISSED QUITE THE FIGHT-- wonder woman here whooped my butt.”
