As the gates began to open, Temari looked around to suss out the competition. Her gaze fell on a familiar girl. "Trying again?" Temari asked her. "I hope you're stronger than last time." Was it intended as support, or as insulting? A good question.
Tenten huffs as she hears Temari's words and her eyes turned back to her. "I've gotten a lot stronger since then, so don't be expecting the same ole little girl." Tenten warned with a playful smirk on her face. "This time? I'm totally going to ace it." Tenten then tilts her head. "Hopefully you won't be upshowed by me this time, hm?" she teasingly said.
"What are you doing here?" The question was neither cold nor warm. Her hand sat on her hip, watching Shikamaru like a hawk. "You passed your exams." After forcing Temari to forfeit, because he had gotten bored. She would carry this grudge to Shikamaru's grave.
"What, a guy can't catch an event happening in his own village?"
His lips quirked, though he remained slumped against the rooftop railing. Below, a steady stream of chuunin hopefuls trickled into a line in front of the examination building.
"Shouldn't you be down there?" He made a noncommittal gesture at the crowd before looking over at Temari. "Or were you hoping I'd give you a hint of what's on the test?"

01. what makes you the most emotional about your muse?
i’m emotional over his back story, mostly. i’ve thought of so many tragic and sad things lmaofdjkf i feel bad but despite it all eron’s a good person.
12. how would you describe your muse to someone about to meet them, in person, for the first time?
well i’d tell the person to not be intimidated by him lmao. i’d avoid being too specific about his appearance bc get this, eron doesn’t really like people pointing out his resemblance to his father. i’d tell people he’s a reserved, quiet guy.
15. what aspect of your muse’s personality is most important to you? what about to them?
he doesn’t want to rely on his lineage to go through life. he also ran from it, hence why he’s “forgotten”. he’s reserved and he puts his guard up. he doesn’t trust people easily but if you’re in his good graces, he’ll make sure you’re okay and safe. he’s selfless, so there’s still the skywalker in him lmao. to him it’s the safest option - he doesn’t want to be attached to anyone because in the end they’re gonna end up abandoning him.

being unable to find her daughter on jakku had been a substantial DISAPPOINTMENT. there was no one to blame but herself, malia knew that much to be a fact. she had made a c h o i c e to leave rey there even if she still believed it to have been for her daughter’s protection. there was no way she could have predicted what had happened to her.
but she had not given up. REPEATING mistakes was nothing she was keen to.
crossing the galaxy was what it took. so that was what malia had done, and she’d found herself facing the exact child she’d spent years thinking of.
