Her mind was playing tricks on her. Yes -- that was certainly all there was to it! The exhibit hall was dim and quiet, not another soul in sight. Clearly the movement she could have SWORN she’d seen out of the corner of her eye was merely her imagination running away with her...

Silly girl, she scoffed silently at herself, digging into her handbag for the notebook she always kept close by when visiting a museum. After all, she’d come here for a reason -- one that was far more interesting than whatever nonsense she thought she saw. Stepping closer to the display, she squinted at the tiny hieroglyphic text carved into stone. As she read and began to scribble notes, the momentary unease quickly began to fade from her mind.

Until she saw it again.

Evy straightened up instantly, whirling around to peer off down the exhibit hall. “Um --” she started meekly. Oh, stop being ridiculous! Surely it’s only a guard...
