Background:
BIO
The last of his family line, the Rosario clan was wiped clean from the growing power of the House of Pontus and the need for more land within their borders. The family was seen as an issue, one that could offer more power to Ignam Terrae. Though all were taking out during the earliest days of the war, it was quickly realized that one was missing: the sole heir who was off in western Unova for his studies at the Dragoon Academy.
Shu hadn't heard of the terrible news, being completely swallowed in his own studies of becoming a powerful Dragon Rider. He also viewed it as a way for him to partially escape the overwhelming title of prince, even if Unova chose to focus on such statuses. It wasn't until a single Taillow found its way to his dorm, that Shu learned of the circumstances that his family was facing when the parchment held the embedded family seal. He read of his family under attack and without a moment's hesitation to notify the headmistress before heading back home to his region with his trusted partner by his side, Flygon. He knew he was only months away from graduating, but this was far more important.
Unfortunately for Shu, he was too late. He's family palace left in ruins, everything dismantled and crumbling. The young prince was at a lost. The life he most desperately wanted to get away from was ultimately gone and snatched away from without a blink of an eye. Nothing made sense to him as of why his family had been the target, the storms that had taken over the region until a certain creature caught his eye, an Absol. At once he wanted to blame the creature for the unluck that fallen upon his family name, knowing all legends that befallen them, but something about this one seemed different. It seemed unwavering and held no fear of the weapon he pulled out before it and the dragon that stood by his side.
Sensing something was off, the young prince allowed the Absol to led him away from the area before finally reaching a small town. It was there that Shu learned of the unfortunate events that had fallen over the land while he was gone. The entire Rosario family was gone with him the heir as the single survivor. If anything, it wasn't safe if he kept going around as he did, therefore he decided to adopt another name: Drew Hayden. For once, he was rather grateful he had been away at the academy for so long that no one would recognize him at first as the young boy he once was, but still he knew it wasn't safe.
He made his one final visit the last remnants of his land, saying his final goodbyes in hopes that the spirits of his parents would hear him as he laid his own vow to make up for their untimely deaths. It was at this time that his family's patron, Roselia, revealed herself to him. Drew hadn't seen the magical creature since he had left for Dragoon Academy all those years ago so to see that she was still safe meant that there was still some hope left. As his farewells came to a close, the appearance of Absol notified him it was time to get moving again before disaster struck him once again. PERSONALITY
Because of his identity, Drew hardly stays in one place for long knowing that his own life is forever in jeopardy. One would would view him as a wanderer because of this, but they would never know his real reasons behind it unless they recognized him off the bat. He isn't as trusting as he once was, his heart guarded from the devastation he faced and doing his best to keep his identity a secret. However, once you have gained his trust, you have acquired an ally for life. His snark is one that helps him keeps others away, which generally causes him to get into arguments with others, but if necessarily he'll rely on his own charms to fancy his way to get the information he needs. He won't hesitate to go to lengths to find more about the cause of his family's falling.
PARTNERS/GUARDIANS:
► Flygon: His bonded and trusted partner he acquired upon his attendance at Dragoon Academy. Drew's bond with him is unlike any other, and he will stop at nothing to do what he can to protect his rider. His loyalty is unwavering and his speed helps his rider out in all ways possible.
► Roselia: Originally one of the few that acted as the Rosario family guardians, Roselia chose to accompany Drew. Generally she is seen riding along side him on Flygon's back or upon the young prince's shoulder when she hasn't hidden herself from others by hiding into other garments. One may question her small size as she is still growing into full form
► Absol: One that Drew still questions, but he has slowly begun to call the Magical Creature as a friend. He tends to appear to notify Drew that he has stayed in an area too long or if a storm is approaching. Like Drew, he is a wanderer but if one were to actually look, he wouldn't be too far off in the shadows. If anything, he could viewed more as a guardian than Drew's complete partner, but won't hesitate to defend the small remnants of the Rosario clan.
