Yk how Cale is shipped with almost everyone else in the cast because of how shippable he is (and strangely, but unsurprisingly Og!Cale too; I've seen plenty of fics with him being shipped with everyone else like Cale despite only being a side or heck a background character whose screentime is so low Og!Cale fans are craving for more) with Albecale being the most popular ship followed closely by ChoiCale in the TCF fandom? (At least that's what I think so—I based it on the amount of fics the ships have on ao3.)
So I was wondering, if TBOAH ever had a fandom or a large fan base, wouldn't Choi Han—being the protagonist of the book series—also be shipped with everyone around him? Og!ChoiCale may have been a popular ship because of the Enemies to Lovers trope, but don't you guys think Og!Choiberu would have been the most popular ship since they're both major characters in TBOAH? And considering the Prince x Knight dynamic, I can imagine their fans going crazy over them. But the thing is, it would have been a terribly tragic, devastating and beautifully toxic ship/romance knowing their character and because of the war.
I'm not even into shipping but this just randomly popped up in my mind.
