The Ogle Triplex Scimitar GTS (Glazing Test Special) was an innovative 1965 British concept car designed by Tom Karen of Ogle Design. Commissioned by the Triplex Safety Glass Company, it showcased their glass technologies using a modified Reliant Scimitar GT coupé. Debuting at the 1965 Earls Court Motor Show, its “shooting brake” design and expansive glass areas made it the star of the show. It persuaded Reliant to turn their Scimitar GT coupé into the GTE sports estate car.
