Yo Question: Is there a way to purchase a sub for Wakfu in a way that is similar to how you can in Dofus (with the in game currency) or no?

Yes! But you would have to do it with DOFUS currency.

Ogrines can be used to purchase subscriptions in either game, but it is only possible to purchase Ogrines for kamas in DOFUS.

since you seem like the go to guy for this mind if I ask you a dofus question? I really wanna try the game out but is it any fun for those of us who can't pay for a subscription?

Sure! You can ask me anything Dofus-related and if I can answer, I definitely will.

Dofus can indeed be fun for people who can’t pay for a subscription right away. There are dozens of quests and achievements to complete in the free area, two dungeons to try, and you can start working on most of the professions in the game as well.

If you play in the free area long enough, you can even collect enough kamas to purchase a subscription with Ogrines. It takes a while, but once you get your first week of subscription, you can generally gather up kamas more easily, which makes it less difficult to sustain a subscription with Ogrines (if you want to do so).

This Ogrine system means that with a little effort, you can play the game as a subscriber without paying a dime of “real” money!

If you do decide to go for a week of Ogrine-fueled subscription, here’s a list of daily quests that you can run to help maintain your kamas for subscription.

i exchanged my kamas to ogrines and i want to exchange them back to kamas on another server but the ogrines are called "joined ogrines" for some reason and wont let me use them :s any reason why?

Ogrines that you purchase with kamas are linked to your account and can only be used to purchase subscription, Emporium items, or services. This measure has been put into place to prevent kama speculation, market manipulation (buying up ogrines at low prices then reselling them for higher prices), and fraud (not that you were trying to do any of that, but other, less scrupulous people would).

Normally, if you want to move kamas to another server, you will need to purchase a Server Transfer.
